Around 250 participants participated in the program. Few school teachers along with Unit President and School Principal were physically present in the School for doing YOGA and students were present virtually through zoom meeting. Principal Mr. R K Trivedi also participated in the YOGA day activity. Raigarh Unit President Mr. Sanjay Debnath suggested the benefits of YOGA to all the members virtually. YOGA instructor Mrs. Manju Gupta also gave important tips for doing the YOGA. State Chairman and Secretary congratulated and thanked the School management for conducting a program successfully.

This virtuous work was completed under the guidance of Mahavar. Dr. Mahawar said that motivated by his social responsibilities, he is continuously doing this work of planting seeds at the time of arrival of monsoon with the help of youth hostels for the past many years. They believe that with year after year efforts, our hard work will pay off and one day the Keshkal valley will surely turn into a valley of flowers.Chairman of the organization Yogesh Gupta said that, the saplings of Ratrani, Cosmos, Sadasuhagan, Red Lily, Marigold, Sunflower, Jamun, Belphal, Chhind, Sitaphal, Guava and Mango were planted enthusiastically by the members. Senior member Hukumchand Jain said that for the last four years, our efforts are now visible in the form of various flowering plants and fruit trees in the valley.Ramesh Dev, a member of the state level environment cell, said that youth hostels get a different pleasure in coming to the Keshkal valley every year for tree plantation and seeding before the rainy season. It seems as if we are trying to fulfill our obligation towards nature.According to active member Kajal Munjwani, Youth Hostels creates social environmental consciousness by planting seeds and planting different species every year during the rainy season. The organization has the same affection for trees and flowers as parents have for their children.Vishwesh Kotwani, Surendra Munjwani, Dhananjay Sonkar, Venkatesh Sahu, Dr. Devashish Hazra, Gopal Tamrakar, Mithali Dev, Kamlesh Kothari, Vivek Sheela Munjwani, Anuradha Munjwani, Rahul Gupta and other members played a commendable role in making this exemplary responsibility a success.

2472020-202125-02-2021RAIGARHOne day Trekking & Training Program at Parsada Raigarh on 25.02.2021Members of Youth Hostel Association of India, Raigarh Unit successfully organised one day ‘Trekking cum training Program’ at Parsada on 25th February, 2021. In this day-long program, trekking & training in hilly areas of Parsada and adjacent dam area is carried under the participation of Sri Suman Mandal (Secretary), Sri Prashant Kr. Mishra (Chairman), Sri Subash Chandra Panda, Sri Shaiju Abraham, Sri Skaria Varghese, Mr. Sk. Julfikar Ali, Ms. Pooja Dubey, Mr. Prashant Pandey, Mrs. Shwechchha pandey, Mrs. Melvin Choubey and other members along with Mr. Sandeep Seth(YHAI CG State Chairman). All the members actively participated in trekking and training program & enjoyed a lot. The mottos, objectives and activities of YHAI were briefed to all the participants and participation certificates were distributed at the end of the program. Mr. R.K.Trivedi(Patron), Dr. Sanjay Debnath (President), Mr. K. Subramanyam(YHAI CG State Secretary) expressed their hearty congratulations to all members of YHAI Raigarh Unit.

Around 62 participants including kids participated in the program. Youth Hostels Association of India, YHAI Raipur Unit CG State organized 2D1N Achanakmar Trekking cum Training Program on 20-21 February 2021. Participants of Korba, Raipur, Bilaspur, Kawardha of Chhattisgarh State participated in the program. All the participants gathered at Baiga Resort Shivtarai by bus. After the meal, participants left for jungle safari where everyone saw animals like Bison, peacock, wild boar, rabbit, deer etc. On return, everyone participated in the campfire and cultural program. The detailed information of the first Dog Squad of Chhattisgarh State Wildlife was given by the trainer and how the Dog Squad worked in solving more than 19 criminal cases. Subsequently, the jungle trekking was done by everyone under the guidance of Mansoor Khan, Shailesh Shukla and Forest Guard of Achanakmar Tiger Reserve, and the certificate was distributed by the Chief Convervative of Forest Mr. IAtul Shukla . The program was led by Raipur Unit President Sunil Visnoi, Raipur Chairman Shashank Moghe, Raipur Secretary Ashok Jhabak, State Chairman Sandeep Seth, Korba President Satish Shukla, actively participated in the programs along with others.

Covered approximate 30 KM from Korba. DFO Shri N Gurunathan with his wife also joined the program. YHAI Korba members Satish Shukla, Shailendra Namdeo , Rahul Gupta , Sharda Namdeo and Sandeep Seth were present and fixed approximately 30 Public Awareness flex in the area. Team also took advantage of viewing Sunrise at Coffee point Korba at an altitude of approximately 486 Mtr above sea level. This time our Lady Member Smt Sharda Namdeo and Korba President Shri Satish Shukla of 64 Years also fixed flex along with other member. DFO Shri Gurunathan congratulations us for this noble cause. Chairman Sandeep Seth also thanked Smt Sharda Namdeo and Satish Shuka for showing their gesture.

A heartfelt tribute was paid to the Pulwama martyrs under the joint aegis of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari unit and Freedom Physical Training Academy Dhamtari. On this occasion, a pledge to serve the nation was also taken in the memory of the martyrs.Yogesh Gupta, President of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari Unit, said that on the second death anniversary of the soldiers martyred in Pulwama attack, Youth Hostels Dhamtari, Police Training Center Dhamtari and Indian Army jointly organized 150 meter tricolor rally in association with jawans. Gaya . Yogesh Gupta, Hukumchand Jain, Manish Chandrakar, Ramesh Dev, Kajal Munjwani, Vishwesh Kotwani, Venkatesh Sahu, Rahul Gupta etc. played a commendable role in making this event a success.

As we all know that "health is wealth" . On the same theme a camp for all the members was organised on 30.01.2021 from 5PM to 8PM. CG State and Unit Chairman of korba unit Sandeep Seth informed proudly that in CORONO pandemic also the unit successfully organised 15 programs from April 2020 till Jan 2021. The program was successfully conducted and around 40 members took advantage of it. Camp was inaugurated by Unit President Shri Satish Shukla. Dr. Smt Chanda Sethia Bhatt examined all the members. All the members were very glad as this type of activity was conducted for the first time in korba. Unit secretary Shailendra Namdeo and EPC korba DB Subba announced that this camp will be done every year from now onward. Suman seth, M R Pati , Seema Shukla activity participated in the program and were present from 5 to 8 pm. Paleshwar singh, ML Sahu , Tomar family , Sharma family and Gupta family made the program a grand success. Executive body meeting was held after the camp and many new decision were taken by the body to promote the activities. Korba unit honored Mr Nitin the owner of Chasma Ghar and Dr. Smt Chanda with the Certificate.
