2652020-202126-12-2020KORBA2D1N T&T Program at Sita Bengra & Mainpat C.G. on 26 & 27 Dec 2020YHAI Korba unit CG State organised 2D1N trekking & training program at Sita Bengra Udaipur & Mainpat C.G. on 26th and 27th Dec 2020 . Around 30 members participated in the program. Following COVID19 guidelines all the participants temperature was checked and then the team started its journey on 26.12.2020 at 7:30AM. We all reached Sita Bengra(Ramgarh) at 10:30 AM where the trekking program was organised. After trekking, we all had delicious lunch and then visited TIN TIN stone , ULTA PANI and reached our stay place at Anmol resort. At the resort our Korba Secretary Mr Namdeo gave a surprize visit with his family. We all visited JAL JALI in the evening and at night we had a marvellous CAMP FIRE with games,songs etc. On the next day (27.12) we all visited Fish Point , Apple Garden , Tibettian Monastry and Tiger Point . After taking lunch we had our CERTIFICATE distribution program and then we all returned back to our home. This was one of the most memorable moment for all of us, as due to pandemic situation we were not able to organize the camps. The team was leaded by Korba unit Chairman Mr. Sandeep Seth. Unit President Satish Shukla ,EPC member DB Subba and Secretary Shailendra Namdeo had a great contribution in organizing this program. Other members present along with the family were R.S. Seth, M R Pati, Bhupendra yadav, Anil Agrawal, Manoj Mishra and Rahul Gupta.
2662020-202122-12-2020DHAMTARIKHALLARI MATA MANDIR AND CHANDI MANDIR TREKKING ON 22.12.2020One day trekking cum training of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari unit was completed at Khallari Mata Mandir Khallari and Chandi Mata Mandir Ghunchapali Bagbahra. 52 male and female members of all age groups took part in the event and experienced trekking. The program was made successful following the guidelines of Kovid 19.Chairman Yogesh Gupta said that the first stop of the event was at Khallari Mata Temple in Khallari. Where high down the wild stony exciting place was crossed and reached the temple. The trekkers were very pleased to see Bhima Paon and Donga Pathara there.Senior member Rameshdev said that the next stop of the trek was Chandi Mata Temple, Ghunchapali Bagbahra. The main attraction here was the wild bears coming to eat the prasad in the evening aarti, which all the members were very thrilled to see. It was a different experience to see wild bears roaming freely in the open.Active members of the organization Hemant Dekate, Venkatesh Sahu and Kamlesh Kothari jointly informed that such local events of youth hostels are organized for membership campaign along with adding new members. Dr. Shesh Narayan Chandrakar told that, the members of the organization eagerly wait throughout the year for such events to be held in winters. In two or three trekking, going between nature, we forget the daily fatigue and get a new energy and heat.Vishwesh Kotwani, Dr. Abhishek Goyal, Sudarshan Gupta, Daulat Gyanchandani, Kailash Kukreja, Richa Kukreja, Manoj Lakhwani, Bhavika Lakhwani, Satram Vasani, Srishti Vasani, Kushal Chopra, Parvinder Singh Khalsa, Dr. Monika Varadani, were involved in making this event a success. All the members including Mehak Vardayani, Dr. Deepti Chandrakar, Dr. Diwakar Jaspal, Geetika Wadhwani, Yashika Wadhwani, Yash Khandelwal made commendable contributions.
2672020-202120-12-2020DHAMTARIHarphad Aroud Bike Trekking on 20.12.2020Dhamtari. The bike trekking of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari unit was completed in Harfad Araud with gaiety. About forty km from Dhamtari, 29 members took part in this event. The members who returned after successfully participating in the trek said that it was a wonderful event in all respects; In which biking, trekking, boating, water fall and adventure were enjoyed together.Chairman Yogesh Gupta said that there were 18 new members in this event, who were thrilled to see the diverse beauty of nature for the first time under the banner of Youth Hostels. Senior member Hukum Chand Jain told that Dhamtari zone is a complete area full of natural beauty. Any person can enjoy the panoramic view of the rugged, inaccessible Vananchal, not alone but only by joining an organization like Youth Hostels.Senior member Dr. Shesh Narayan Chandrakar while sharing his experience said that we go out of Dhamtari for tourism, while our own area is full of immense possibilities of tourism.Mohanrao Ransingh, Mustafa Bhai, Ramesh Minni, Narendra Golchha, Venkatesh Sahu, Gopal Tamrakar, Ravi Krishnani, Amar Patel, Ghanshyam Sahu, Rudraksh Chandrakar, Sagar Kaushik, Vedprakash Sahu, Deepmala Sahu, Shubham Bhande Yadav, Ravi Krishnani, Amar Patel, All the participating members including Chitranshu Sinha, Purnendu Rajak played a commendable role.
2682020-202117-12-2020KORBAKorba UNIT CG State did Distribution of Mask,Gloves & Sanitizers to SAFAI MITRA on 17.12.2020 at Manikanchan CentreYHAI Korba unit donated Hand Sanitizers, Masks and Hand gloves to the "SAFAI MITRA" at Manikanchan Centre, Korba. Around 30 members of SAFAI MITRA were present at that time. Our team motivated them for their work and also thanked them for the work they are doing for the society. Team also gave small training to keep themselves safe from spread of CORONA. At the end the MITRA team also thanked our team for the small gesture. Team members present were Shailendra Namdeo, DB Subba, Shyam Kewat and Sandeep Seth.
2692020-202113-12-2020KORBAWeekend Program to Sambalpur 13.12.2020YHAI Korba Unit CG State organised one day weekend program to Heerakud Dam, Sambalpur, Odissa on 13.12.2020. Around 30 participants participated in this program. The team at sambalpur visited Eco Retreat, Heerakund dive , Gandhi Minar and Nehru Park. While returning back the team also visited Shri SATYANARAYAN BABA dham at Raigarh. This was the longest program of one day. The team traveled around 540 KM to and fro. All age group participants participated in the program from 5 years to 74 years. The program was organised by Unit Chairman Sandeep Seth along with unit President Shri Satish Shukla. Unit org. secretary Shri Shyam kewat, Treasurer Shri Vijesh, Exe Member Vikas also participated along with family members. It was difficult to organise such a program in this Pandemic situation, But we all did it successfully.

2712020-202110-10-2020KORBAYHAI Korba Unit Heritage Trek Cum Plantation on 10.10.2020The Youth Hostels Association of India Korba unit organized a one-day Heritage trekking program at MADKU DWEEP. The whole program was conducted by following the COVID19 protocols. The place is around 130 KM from Korba. The team with minimum participants reached the dweep. It was full of greenery , team enjoyed a lot for a small trek in COVID times. Only 10 members were present due to CORONA at full swing in CG state. Madku is an island (dweep) in the middle of the Shivnath River and is lush green after the monsoon. The island also has archaeological remains of an old temple. Our team visited the place , Praise the HINDU God SHIVA there. They also joined the “Yagya” which was being conducted there.Mr. Dhanbahadur Subba, Mr. Shailendra Namdeo , Mrs. Neelu Subba, Mrs. Sharda Namdeo Safal, Amal and few more members were present in the heritage trek. At the end of the program team had a sapling plantation program. Members planted guava, neem, peeple, jamun, mango and Badam trees.Mr. Satish Shukla, President of Korba Unit , Mr. Sandeep Seth , Chairman CG State & Mr. Subramanyam , Secretary CG State congratulated all the members for the successful completion of the program.
2722020-202119-08-2020RAIPURPlantation Drive - 19.08.2020Members Organized "Intensive Plantation Program” at Bhatagaon, on the banks of the Kharun River, Raipur. Members planted around 45 saplings of Neem, Jackfruit, Sugar Apple, Mulberry, Indian Blackberry, Tamarind, Guava & various other saplings. Members present were Mr. Sunil Vishnoi, CA. Sashank Moghe, CA. Ashok Jhabak, Mr. Varun Jain, Mr. Sagar Jain, Mr. Mahendra Pansari, Mr. B C S Naidu. Mr. Rajesh Khare & many more. Program was led by Mr. Sunil Vishnoi, National Council Member. Mr. Vishnoi welcomed the gathering and exchanged his views about the plantation and suggested the members to pass on the message of plantation to down the line, which is very much necessary in today’s era. CA. Sashank Moghe, Chairman expressed his views by suggesting the members to maintain social distancing and wearing a mask, without which it is not possible to organize or conduct activities or gatherings as per the Government norms, hence it must be followed strictly. Finally at the end of the program CA. Ashok Jhabak given vote of thanks and requested the members present to come forward with more and members and online activities during this session.

2742020-202118-07-2020KORBATrekking Cum Plantation Program at Aurarakchhar on the Satarenga-Ajgarbahar route. 18.07.2020Trekking : The Youth Hostels Association of India Korba unit organized a one-day trekking program in the foothills of the mountain near Aurarakchhar on the Satarenga-Ajgarbahar route. All participants were welcomed by Mr. Satish Shukla, President of Korba Unit & Mr. Sandeep Seth , Chairman CG State, EPC Korba unit Mr Subba informed about the measures to avoid rainy pests during trekking and ,in the corona era, tips were also given to the team to follow personal distancing and cover face with mask. Plantation : After the trekking, planting of medicinal plants, Shankhapushpi, Pomegranate, Ashwagandha, Shikakai, Amla, Guava, Brahmi, Sahajan (Munga), White Musli, was also done in Nandbag of rumgara,Korba. At the end of the program, unit secretary Shailendra Namdev thanked all the participants and urged them to join other upcoming programs. Mr. Sandeep Seth, Chairman CG State & Mr. Subramanyam , Secretary CG State congratulated all the members for the successful completion of the program.
2752019-202014-07-2020DHAMTARIMonsoon Adventure Ride and Trek with Plantation at MAA Angarmatidhaam Tumabujurg 14.07.2020Plantation of saplings in the presence of District Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate in Maa Angaramoti Dham Tumabujurg. Plantation was done by the life-long members of the unit and the members of the unit in the pious memory of their departed loved ones and family members. Willingness of day-long participation by the District Magistrate in the next tracking of the unit as a normal tracker in the manner of Youth Hostels as per the guidelines of the Youth Hostels.
