2532021-202220-02-2021RAIPUR2D1N Trekking & Training program at ATR BilaspurYHAI Raipur unit successfully organized Achanakmar Tiger Reserve Nature Study & Trekking Cum Training Program-2021. Around 62 participants including kids participated in the program. Youth Hostels Association of India, YHAI Raipur Unit CG State organized 2D1N Achanakmar Trekking cum Training Program on 20-21 February 2021. Participants of Korba, Raipur, Bilaspur, Kawardha of Chhattisgarh State participated in the program. All the participants gathered at Baiga Resort Shivtarai by bus. After the meal, participants left for jungle safari where everyone saw animals like Bison, peacock, wild boar, rabbit, deer etc. On return, everyone participated in the campfire and cultural program. The detailed information of the first Dog Squad of Chhattisgarh State Wildlife was given by the trainer and how the Dog Squad worked in solving more than 19 criminal cases. Subsequently, the jungle trekking was done by everyone under the guidance of Mansoor Khan, Shailesh Shukla and Forest Guard of Achanakmar Tiger Reserve, and the certificate was distributed by the Chief Convervative of Forest Mr. IAtul Shukla . The program was led by Raipur Unit President Sunil Visnoi, Raipur Chairman Shashank Moghe, Raipur Secretary Ashok Jhabak, State Chairman Sandeep Seth, Korba President Satish Shukla, actively participated in the programs along with others.

2552020-202114-02-2021KORBAYhai Korba Unit - Public awareness program (Phase -2) to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green. 14.02.2021Yhai Korba unit CG state organised the public awareness program Phase -II from Balco to the picnic spot Coffee point Korba. Covered approximate 30 KM from Korba. DFO Shri N Gurunathan with his wife also joined the program. YHAI Korba members Satish Shukla, Shailendra Namdeo , Rahul Gupta , Sharda Namdeo and Sandeep Seth were present and fixed approximately 30 Public Awareness flex in the area. Team also took advantage of viewing Sunrise at Coffee point Korba at an altitude of approximately 486 Mtr above sea level. This time our Lady Member Smt Sharda Namdeo and Korba President Shri Satish Shukla of 64 Years also fixed flex along with other member. DFO Shri Gurunathan congratulations us for this noble cause. Chairman Sandeep Seth also thanked Smt Sharda Namdeo and Satish Shuka for showing their gesture.

A heartfelt tribute was paid to the Pulwama martyrs under the joint aegis of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari unit and Freedom Physical Training Academy Dhamtari. On this occasion, a pledge to serve the nation was also taken in the memory of the martyrs.Yogesh Gupta, President of Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari Unit, said that on the second death anniversary of the soldiers martyred in Pulwama attack, Youth Hostels Dhamtari, Police Training Center Dhamtari and Indian Army jointly organized 150 meter tricolor rally in association with jawans. Gaya . Yogesh Gupta, Hukumchand Jain, Manish Chandrakar, Ramesh Dev, Kajal Munjwani, Vishwesh Kotwani, Venkatesh Sahu, Rahul Gupta etc. played a commendable role in making this event a success.

As we all know that "health is wealth" . On the same theme a camp for all the members was organised on 30.01.2021 from 5PM to 8PM. CG State and Unit Chairman of korba unit Sandeep Seth informed proudly that in CORONO pandemic also the unit successfully organised 15 programs from April 2020 till Jan 2021. The program was successfully conducted and around 40 members took advantage of it. Camp was inaugurated by Unit President Shri Satish Shukla. Dr. Smt Chanda Sethia Bhatt examined all the members. All the members were very glad as this type of activity was conducted for the first time in korba. Unit secretary Shailendra Namdeo and EPC korba DB Subba announced that this camp will be done every year from now onward. Suman seth, M R Pati , Seema Shukla activity participated in the program and were present from 5 to 8 pm. Paleshwar singh, ML Sahu , Tomar family , Sharma family and Gupta family made the program a grand success. Executive body meeting was held after the camp and many new decision were taken by the body to promote the activities. Korba unit honored Mr Nitin the owner of Chasma Ghar and Dr. Smt Chanda with the Certificate.
2582020-202124-01-2021KORBAYhai Korba Unit - Public awareness program to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green on 24.01.2021Yhai Korba Unit CG state organised a Public awareness program to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green. On call from our unit President Shri Satish Shukla a team of four member was formed for the event. State Chairman Sandeep Seth along with Environment Protection Committee member DB Subba and Rahul Gupta approached korba D.F.O. Shri N. Gurunathan for the permission. After taking permission Korba unit jointly with Forest Division Korba made public awareness flexes. The flex had slogans to Protect Environment, Save animals, Say No to Plastic, Prevent Fire in forest, Use dustbin etc. Team Korba went to 3 picnics spots Rani Jharna, Satrenga, Boda Nala and it's nearby areas and fixed around 50 flexes at various spots and also asked the public to follow the rules and discipline to keep the surrounding clean and green. Team Also planted Almond saplings near by areas with tree guard and arranged the security of it. Team covered around 100 km area today. The report will be sent to DFO and many such spots will be covered in coming days. The full financial support was borne by YHAI Korba unit in this public awareness program. Unit secretary Shailendra Namdeo along with Shyam and Vijesh also gave there full support in organising the program.
2592020-202119-01-2021DHAMTARIBUTIGARH TREKKING AND TRAINING PROGRAM ON 19.01.2021Dhamtari. One day trekking cum training was organized by Youth Hostels Association of India Dhamtari unit at Bootigarh. Where the successful experience of trekking in the dense jungle mountain was taken by 110 male and female members of all age groups. The trekkers benefited from pure natural breath in a remote location located in the Singapur Forest Range, 55 km from Dhamtari.The chairman of the organization Yogesh Gupta said that this event was successful only with the mutual cooperation of the members in forest like Bootigarh.It is a popular belief that forgetfulness is found in abundance in this area, on which the memory is lost on falling and one gets confused in the forest. Therefore vigilance becomes necessary in such rugged forests.Senior members Hukumchand Jain and Sushma Nanda told that Youth Hostels is an international organization, which introduces nature to the unseen beauty of nature along with the protection of nature at a nominal fee. Places where one cannot go alone, such inaccessible, rugged, uninhabited places can be visited only through youth hostels.According to youth hostels officials Rameshdev and Neeraj Shukla, in about 15 km trekking of Butigarh, it was found to observe various geographical forms of forest, mountain and river. In such a geographical area, discipline along with team spirit is very important for the trekkers.From eight-year-old Vaidik Sonkar and Shaurya Sahu to a fifty-five year old senior member, Chandrakant Gandhi participated in this very tiring event. In return, all the members were given a certificate of tracking cum training after availing the darshan of Chhota Shirdi Dham Kukrel.Senior members Manish Chandrakar, Kamlesh Kothari, Rajendra Bhalla, Mustafa Rangwala, Pawan Minni, Mahesh Sharma, Subodh Mahawar, Dr. Sheshnarayan Chandrakar, Dr. Rakesh Soni, Dr. Dinesh Nag, Dr. Bhupendra Soni, Dr. Dharmendra Sinha, Hemant Dekate, Dhananjay Sonkar, Anushka Shukla, Arjun Shukla, Bobby Gundecha and other members played a commendable role.
2602020-202117-01-2021KORBAYHAI Korba Unit - Trekking & Training Program at RANI JHARNA, Ajgarbahar Korba 17.01.2021YHAI Korba unit CG state organised one day Trekking and Training program at RANI JHARNA , Ajgarbahar Korba. Arround 70 participants actively took part in it. The trek was around 7 KM. All the participants had a delicious breakfast and left over to Trek after proper instruction from the unit Chairman Sandeep Seth. The trek leader were DB Subba and Satish Shukla. The team fully enjoyed in the trek as it was the longest Trek after a year. Team had a healthy lunch after the trek followed by Certificate distribution ceremony. Secretary Shailendra Namdeoji made proper trek marking for all. Team also made banners to avoid use of plastic, clean environment clean and green and hanged on the trees. Many new members joined this trekking program.At the end, Clean drive program was done in near by areas of the spot and the garbage was disposed properly.

Inspired by the ideal formula of blood for life, this camp was organized on Tuesday, January 12 at District Hospital Dhamtari from 9 am to 2 pm.The organization's chairman Yogesh Gupta told that Kamlesh Kothari, Hemant Dekate, Subodh Mahawar, Vikas Saheb, Leelaram Sahu, Yogesh Gupta, Anil Saheb, Surendra Munjwani, Anuradha Munjwani, Kajal were in this camp organized on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a symbol of youth power. Munjwani, Yash Khandelwal, Viveksheela Munjwani, Dhananjay Sonkar and Subhash Sharma donated blood.Senior members of the organization Dr. Anant Dixit, Hukumchand Jain, Manish Chandrakar, Rameshdev, Vishwesh Kotwani, Naveen Sahu, Lucky Walecha, Manish Kotwani, Neeraj Sahu, Kajal Munjwani, Venkatesh Sahu, Gopal Tamarkar in this event related to the social concerns of Youth Hostels And Sagar Kaushik had a commendable role. The contribution of Surendra Munjwani and Kajal Munjwani, who donated blood in the family, was especially commendable and exemplary in this sacred event of social service.Youth Hostels Dhamtari Unit expressed gratitude and gratitude to all the colleagues in making this voluntary blood donation successful.

2642020-202107-01-2021KORBAUnused Cloth Distribution Program at Leprosy Aashram on 07.01.2021 YHAI Korba unit CG state organised "Unused Cloth Distribution Program" on 7.01.2021 at Leprosy Ashram, Motisagarpara. Around 300 pairs of cloth(Old/New) and 30 New Blankets were distributed by us. Around 20 YHAI volunteers were involved in the program. YHAI got full support from the local Parshad of Motisagarpara Mrs & Mr. Santosh. We are thankful to both of them. The clothes were donated by around 20 families. New Blankets were donated by Mr Satish Shukla unit President, Mrs Suman Seth, Mr. R S Sahu, Mrs & Mr Manoj Mishra and Mr. Shailendra Namdeo. Ladies member Reena,Anita, Riya, Nilu, Poonam, Mayarani, Reeta, Rolly, Sharda and Kalpana had special contribution in making the program a success. Other active members involved were Subba, Vishal, Shyam, Vijesh, Vikas, Ravindra and Sandeep.
