Lets discover the hidden heritage of our city.First journey started on 30th April at 3:45 pm from Collectorate Bilaspur. In the first phase, 40 kilometers of cycling to Dalha mountain. In the second phase, starting from the collectorate at 6 am on May 8, knowing the heritage of some Bilaspur through various routes, it will end in the church next to GDC, the distance is about 9 km. The third phase will start from the church on May 15 at 6 am and will end at Nehru Chowk, the distance is about 12 km. Program is organised under the leadership of unit President Dr. Bhaskar Chourasia and Unit Secretary Shailesh Shukla. State members congratulated the bilaspur team.

On the way they covered Kailashpuri Heritage, Duddhadhari math, Bajranjbali Temple , Hatkeshwar Temple, Mahadev Ghat and Swami Vivekananda Statue.Delicious breakfast was given at the end of the program to all the participants. Around 35 members participated in the Program. The program was organised under the leadership of Shri Sunil Vishnoi, Ashok Jhabak and Shashank Moghe.
2202021-202206-02-2022KORBATrekking & Training program of YHAl Korba at TRIVENI point in the river CHORNAI on 06.02.2022Trekking & Training program of Youth Hostel association completed successfully at TRIVENI point in the river CHORNAI on 06.02.2022 Youth Hostels Association of India Korba unit organised 1 day trekking and training program at TRIVENI point in the river CHORNAI today on 6th Feb 2022 for its member. The program was organised under the leadership of Chairman Sandeep Seth , President Satish Shuka and Treasurer DB Subba. First time YHAI organized a trek inside river where the water was 4 inch to 1.5 feet deep maximum. We had a trek of 4KM inside the river. Participants were very very Happy to do this type of trekking for the time in their life. 65 participants were present in the program. Chairman informed that ,forty new members were present in the program. The members who helped to organise the program successfully are suman , Poonam, Rajshree, Dr. Hashim, Rajesh, Seema, Shashi Bala, Kusum lata, Nisha, Vikas , Kalpana, Poonam , Reena, Nilu , Rahul and Manoj. After Certificate distribution we had a clean drive program and collected all the garbage and disposed it properly. Only 250 amount per participant was charged for the members which included Breakfast, Lunch, Sweets, Evening Tea and Breakfast on NO PROFIT basis.

2222021-202217-01-2022KORBAHelp The Needies @ Leprosy Aashram and OLD AGE HOME on 17.01.2022Youth Hostels Association of India Korba unit, CG state organised a program "Help the Needies" on 17th January 2022 on the CG state local festival Cherchera. Korba unit asked the members to donate some amount and we collected a good amount nearly 12000 . We distributed the following items to the Leprosy Aashram and Old Age Home people: Hair Oil, Soap bath and clothes, Paste, Brush,Surf, Mask, Biscuit, Mixture, Fruits, Sleepers, Socks, Rice 5KG, unused clothes etc. The program was organised under the leadership of Chairman Sandeep Seth and Treasurer D B Subba. In this program members of YHAI above 60 Years also participate with full swing. The old age people were very Happy to recieve the needy and daily items. They asked the team to organise a small trip for them. We promised to do the same soon. Members present were Suman Seth, M R Pati, R Sharma, Poonam, Nilu Subba, Rajesh, Rahul, Manoj Mishra, RS Sahu, DR Sahu, BG Shrivas, E Jayan, PL Mirendra and Mrs SK Mirendra and Mr Jain and Vijesh In addition Mr S Pathak and Mrs K Seth also helped in preparing the packets
2232021-202225-12-2021KORBAAmrit Mahotsav Jointly with Forest Division KorbaAmrit Mahotsav program concluded under the joint aegis of Youth Hostel Association and Forest Department Korba Korba DFO Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest! YHAI Korba unit jointly with Raipur Unit and Forest Department Korba concluded successfully. Korba DFO Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest! Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State's 3-day trekking and training program under the joint aegis of Forest Department, Korba, concluded on 26th December at Satrenga. About 80 participants from Raipur, Korba, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Kabeerdham districts participated in this tracking and training program under the leadership of state chairman Sandeep Seth. On the first day of the program on 24th, the participants were aclimitized (5 KM), and trained to fix up of tents. Next day Boating was done for 90 minutes followed by Clean Drive program at Satrenga in collaboration with the Forest Department. 4 sacks of garbage were collected. Later a 1400 year old Sal tree was shown. Then the panoramic trek of Rani Jharna was done under the leadership of Subba, Vikas and Rahul in collaboration with the Forest Department, which was a trek of about 9 KM.While returning from Rani Jharna, the entire trek was cleaned by the team and 6 bags of garbage were removed. On the second day also, camp fire was done again in the night. On the last day of the program everyone was taken to Devpahari. Everyone enjoyed a lot in this program of Youth Hostel because in the 3 day program everyone enjoyed cleanliness drive, trekking, boating, camping, campfire, jungle trekking, bird watching under Amrit Festival (75 years of Independence). Korba DFO Mrs. Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest at the conclusion of the program. She presented certificates to all the participants. Mrs. Priyanka Pandey told how harmful carbon emissions are for all of us. Priyanka Pandey appealed to the youth and told how its emissions can be reduced. State Chairman of Youth Hostel Sandeep Seth presented a memento while thanking the chief guest. Unit President Mr. Satish Shukla had a special contribution in making this program successful.Along with this, Tracking Officer Vikas Patel and Rahul Gupta led the entire track. EPC Shailendra Namdev, Shailesh Shukla, Sunil Vishnoi, Ashok Jhabak, Shashank Moghe, Mansoor Khan, Dr. Nishant Agarwal, Dhanbahadur Subba did commendable work in making the program a success.

Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State's 3-day state iron tracking and training program under the joint aegis of Forest Department, Korba, concluded on 26th December at Satrenga. About 80 participants from Raipur, Korba, Raigad, Bilaspur, Kawardha districts participated in this tracking and training program under the leadership of state chairman Sandeep Seth.On the first day of the program on 24th, the participants were taught tracking (5 KM), setting up of tents. In the severe cold at night, everyone enjoyed the campfire. On the second day, on the 25th, after tea and breakfast, everyone was made boating. After that a cleanliness drive was carried out in Satrenga in collaboration with the Forest Department. 4 sacks of garbage were collected. Later a 1400 year old Sal tree was shown. 2262021-202221-12-2021DHAMTARIOne Day Trekking and Training Program at KUANMAARI , Keshkaal on 21.12.2021YHAI Dhamtari Unit of CG State organised one day trekking & training program to KUAMAARI near Keshkaal. Around 60 members of Youth Hostels Dhamtari were present in the program. Dhamtari MLA Ms. Ranjana Deependra Sahu flagged off the bus on 21.12.2021 at 7.30 am. On this occasion, She encouraged the members of the organization for continuous operation of activities like trekking and environment conservation. The unit of Youth Hostels is active in the city for last 22 years and its members have been constantly attracting their attention with new activities. The president of the organization, Hukumchand Jain, thanked the MLA for her cooperation.Chairman Yogesh Gupta told that they visited KUAMARI waterfall then had a trekking program. After trekking they visited tatamari resort and had lunch. State Chairman and State Secretary and all other National Council members congratulated the team for the grand success of the program.

Many members had participated in the programme & enrich their knowledge about fixing the tent. Complete training was given how to unfold, fix and then fold the tent in its original form. Team leaders present were (Shri) Sunil Vishnoi, Shasank Moghe, Vimal Srivas, Mahendra Pansari, Durgashankar Parganiha, BCS Naidu, Rajesh Khare, Atal Singh Hanspal, Anil Jain, Sameer Moghe, Tarun Nayak, Dilip Verma, Raghu Nirmalkar, Mithun Taparia, Sanjiv Gadgil, Rajendra Vaishnav along with many other members. State Chairman and Secretary congratulated the entire team for organising successful program.
