The program was organised under the leadership of Subash Panda, Ajay Jaiswal, Shaiju Abraham and Ms Chandra Pareek.Students of different age groups were involved for the same. Students were taught how to plant saplings, Team also shared the knowledge of environment values in there life and how the upcoming youth can preserve the environment.YHAI team was helped by many teachers of the school.Members gave thanks to all the teachers for giving their valuable time for organizing the event .
1942022-202317-07-2022CG-STATEMoU Between CTB and YHAIMoU Signed and Executed between Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board (CTB) and Youth Hostels Association of India(YHAI) 17/7/ 2022. Under this YHAI will now have joint participation in tourism promotion activities of CTB. At present, Monsoon Food Festival is also being organized by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board at various places of the state, whose first event was organized on Sunday 17/07/2022 in Raipur. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Atal Shrivastava ji, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Hon'ble Mrs. Chitrarekha Sahu ji, Vice President. YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth informed that Mr. Anil Kumar Sahu (IFS) Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board, Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Advisor State Planning Commission, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Arun Kumar Pandey Secretary Biodiversity Board. , Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Prem Kumar, Additional Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of Chhattisgarh and Mr. Rupesh Pandey, Chief Executive Officer, Youth Hostels were present in the program. On this occasion, YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth, Korba Unit President Satish Shukla, K Subramanyam, Shailesh Shukla, Mansoor Khan, Ajay Srivastava, Sandeep Murarka, Shashank Moge, Ashok Jhabak, Sunil Vishnoi etc. were present. . All the officials and members of all units of the youth hostels have expressed their happiness. Youth Hostel Association is an international organization having hostels in 97 countries including India. This is the second largest NGO in the United Nation, which has about 1600 members in Chhattisgarh and more than 250 units in all the states in India and 8 units are working in the state including Korba. Organizes trekking, cycling, environmental protection, human service, and cultural activities at non-profit rates.
1952022-202310-07-2022KORBAPlantation on the theme REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONYHAI Korba unit CG State organised a plantation from on the theme Reduce Carbon Emission at Rock Garden Korba on 10th July 2022. Korba unit involved youth members of G-Technology Institute, korba along with them and planted saplings of Guava, Mango, Kadam, Badam etc. Involving youth in preserving the environment is a challenging situation now a days with current generation. Students were given the training on sapling Plantation by YHAI members. In the rock garden students also took the taste of Desi JAMUN which are small in size but very tasty. The Yhai members present in the program were Unit President SATISH SHUKLA, Treasurer D B Subba , Executive membet Mrs. Nilu Subba and Chairman Sandeep Seth.
1962022-202326-06-2022KORBAPlantation of Seed Balls by Korba Unit CG State Youth Hostel Association of India Korba unit , Chhattisgarh State organised a mass seed cultivation program near stop dam of Bela Pond The seed of various fruit were wrapped in a mixture of sand, mud, cow dung and worm compost and was dried last month. After complete drying the seed bomb were stored in polythene.Today early in the morning team of 4 yhai members went to near by forest area and seed bomb were thrown to wet areas of stop dam at Bela Pond . The seed will germinate by it self. Around 350 seed bomb were used today.Team members present were DB Subba, Shailendra Namdeoji, Shyam Kewat and Sandeep Seth . Few village people were also involved in the process.

2002022-202305-06-2022BILASPURPainting Competition on the Environment Day 2022On the occasion of World Environment Day, a children's painting competition was organized on the topic of contribution of chital in nature conservation under the joint aegis of YHAI, Forest Department and NBA in village Bagbudwa district Mungeli.After leaving at 6 o'clock in the morning, members reached Bagbudwa village where chital (spotted deer) resides. Situated between two rivers, Matiyari and Agar, this area once used to be a dense forest, now only the desolate ebb is visible. There is a large number of chital here, which live in small deserted areas and fields.With their protection, the process of planting trees again will be started in this area, which will be helpful in bringing back the greenery here.For this the purpose of today's program was to prepare the new generation here. By motivating the children through painting, they have to be prepared for environmental protection. Beginning of a new era.

Participants including Mokshada Sahu, Harshvardhan Sahu, Sanskriti Gupta, Kavita Jain, Labdhi Jain, Archana Munjwani, Vidhi Jain, Hardik Jain, Aastha Saheb, Samridhi Gupta, Bhavya Mahavar, Aaradhya Shri Rajput etc. participated in this competition. Drawings made by the participants were judged by Chairman Yogesh Gupta, President Hukumchand Jain and Treasurer Venkateshwar Sahu and the paintings were selected for the first and second positions.

In the same vein, members of the Youth Hostel Raigad unit took a pledge to protect them by planting saplings for this reason too. Active members of the unit include Sanjay Debnath, President of Raigad unit, Treasurer Subash Panda and Mrs. Panda, Ajay Jaiswal and Mrs. Jaiswal, Scaria Varghese, Along with Shaiju Abraham, Praful Das, Rajesh Chaudhary and Munmun Chaudhary, small children also took a pledge to protect and care for them by planting saplings.Congratulating and appreciating the State Chairman Sandeep Seth and Secretary Mr. Subramanyam, said that this program of World Environment Day is being celebrated in an intensive manner not only in Chhattisgarh but by all the state units of all the youth hostels of the Country. The way nature is being exploited continuously and continuously, the day is not far away that our existence will also be in danger.Raigad Unit Secretary Suman Mandal expressed gratitude to all the members present. Prashant Mishra, Chairman of Raigarh Unit, while giving information about the above said that along with the environment, a crisis has arisen for the life of animals and birds and all of us.
