In this, the photos taken with one's camera had to be submitted along with a story. This program included dialogue, poetry, question hour and photo-related stories. First of all in the dialogue, CSP of Bilaspur Umesh Kumar Gupta (IPS) told the youth how he prepared for UPSC and gave them guidance. After this, photographer Satyaprakash Pandey ji and others told the stories of their selected photos and how a photo becomes headlines. Apart from this, professional people related to photography also participated in the dialogue. Bhaskar Chaurasia, Shailesh Shukla, Anjali, Riya, Ghazal etc. participated in it on behalf of Youth Hostel Bilaspur Unit.
622024-202522-09-2024BHILAIYHAI CG State Bhilai Unit Jointly with Rajnandgaon Adhoc Unit organized a Bike Expedition Cum Adventures Trekking and Training Program on 22.09.2024.YHAI CG State Bhilai Unit Jointly with Rajnandgaon Adhoc Unit organized a Bike Expedition Cum Adventures Trekking and Training Program on 22.09.2024. The program included visit to Dongeshwar Mahadev (Gandai), Thad Pani Waterfall-Sarai Patera (Salewara), Betal Rani Ghati-Chuikhandan. 87 participants joined the event from Bhilai, Raipur, Jagdalpur, Dongargarh and Rajnandgaon. Senior person of 85 years too joined the event and enjoyed and said this was the first of his experience in his life to see the beautifully architected event. This event was organized to highlight the 75 years (Platinum Jubilee celebration) across the State. Members present here where wholeheartedly appreciated the mission of Youth Hostels. The program was organised under the leadership of Bhilai president Rishikant Tiwari. K Subramanyam, Subodh Dewangan, Minesh Gautam were actively involved in the program.

State President Sunil Vishnoi and State Chairman Sandeep Seth welcomed Patron Shri Atal Shrivastava ji (MLA Kota Vidhan Sabha) . Chairman Sandeep Seth informed the progress of YHAI CG STATE branch in last 5 years from 2019 to 2024.Team Bilaspur hosted the meeting and gave a warm welcome to all the members. Chairman informed that 2 new units of YHAI at Ambikapur and Rajnandgaon has been given permission to start. Yhai organised 72 program in the session 2023-2024. Currently more than 3000 members are there in YHAI from Chhattisgarh. Korba President Satish Shukla , Sr. Member Tribhuvan Kaushil and Secretary Shailendra Namdeo represented Korba unit in the meeting.Meeting ended with delicious lunch and a group photograph.

Around 45 members participated in the program. The program was organised under the leadership of Chairman Anil Lunkad and treasurer Vinit Agrawal.Participants had a trek of about 5KM and then had a delicious lunch in traditional manner. Many new members also joined the program. Music, Dance and other short programs were organied by the team. Anil Lunkad also gave introduction of YHAI to all the members. State President, Chairman, Secretary and Other members congratulated Team Jagdalpur for the sucessful completion of the program.

Chairman Sandeep Seth, Flag off the rally from Ghantaghar at 8AM. Around 50 Participants joined the event. Really concerned 170KM distance korba, Coffee point, devpahari, satrenga, Bango, Katghora and back to korba. Program included breakfast, Lunch evening snacks and tea . Snake rescue trainer Avinash Yadav ji gave training to members to deal with snake bite and also gave detail information of Snakes. Lunch made in Chulha was made by Jagriti Samuh ladies at Satrenga. Progran ended up with certificate distribution. Program was lead by Sandeep Seth, State Chairman. Shailendra Namdeo and PL Mirendra ji were Rally coordinator. Many new members also joined the program. Reena,Kalpana, ShivKumari, Shailesh, Bhaskar, Sharda, Meena, Rahul, Tribhuvan, Commer Sandeep actively helped in organising the program. Arvind, BalGovind, Ratna,Renu, Jaiprakash, Rajesh, Jainendra, Rita, Bhooshan, Vikas made the event a grand success.

Members from Dhamtari, Durg Bhilai, Raipur and Rajnandgaon gathered at this beautiful, exciting place, little known, unknown, and enjoyed the rain, biking, trekking and water falls to their heart's content. Giving detailed information regarding the event, Dhamtari Unit Chairman Yogesh Gupta said that despite being a joint event of two units, it was in a way like a Chhattisgarh state level event. This monsoon adventure bike trekking was prepared by Yogesh Gupta, Dhananjay Sonkar and Gopal Tamrakar. On this occasion, the objectives and activities of Youth Hostels were highlighted. The program started with garlanding and laying of flowers on the portrait of founder Richard Sirman. President of Bhilai unit Rishikant Tiwari how and when the youth hostels were established. Rishi Kant also narrated his memories of important national events. Chairman K. Subramaniam elaborated the achievements of the Bhilai unit. Secretary Subodh Dewangan said that youth hostels provide us an opportunity to connect with nature and eco-tourism at affordable rates. Apart from organizing events like trekking, biking, rock climbing, river rafting, para gliding, desert safari, snow games, the organization also conducts social activities like blood donation, family camping, tree plantation, environment conservation, distribution of materials among the needy etc. In the event P.K. Singh, Hardev Singh Gill, Dr. A. Of. Srivastava, M.R. Naidu and Dr. Sharda Singh, K Sindhu and other members played a commendable role.

Unit members also conducted Clean Drive program giving awareness of environment protection and cleanliness at religious tourist places. Rally started at 7.30 AM from Municipal Corporation Garden. The places covered in route were Budheshwar Temple - Kankali Talab Temple - Mahamaya Temple - Jaitusav Math - Doodhadhari Math - Hatkeshwar Mahadev Ghat Temple - Sarona Shiv Temple - ISKCON Temple Tatibandh - Banjari Mata Temple Banjari Nagar - Hanuman Temple Gudhiyari and concluded at Jain Dada Badi temple MG Road with Breakfast to the participants The total distance was around 40KMs.The program was organised under the leadership of President Sunil Vishnoi, Chairman Shashank Moghe and Secretary Ashok Jhabak. After the speech the flag was hoisted by the senior member of YHAI Mrs Suman Seth. Reeta Sharma garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. President Satish Shukla in his speech told the members that why we celebrate Independence on 15th Aug.The Program was organised under the leadership of Chairman Sandeep Seth. After the function Youth Hostel Celebrated birthday of Senior Member Smt Suman Seth by cake cutting ceremony followed by breakfast to all the members, and then sweets were also distributed to all the members. Around 40 members were present in the program. Rajesh, Tribhuvan, Vishaal, Sahu ji, Adv Purohit ji, Dr. Tripathy, Tiwariji, Shivani, Kalpana, Ritika, Aarav, Shiv, Swati, Vijesh and many other members were present in the successful program. Secretary Shailendra Namdeo gave vote to thanks to all the members before the end of the program.
