Raipur unit successfully completed its Youth Day Celebration by Organizing 2D1N trekking at Kurdar Valley at a distance of 180KM from Raipur. The program was organized under the leadership of Unit Secretary Ashok Jhabak supported by Varun Jain and Vimal Shrivas and guided by State & Unit President Sunil Vishnoi. The program involved a trek on Kurder, Bansnala and Umaria mountain range covering a distance of 8 KM. The program was composed of Acclimatization, Healthy Veg Food, Trekking , Camp Fire, Music and Dance , Certificate Distribution ceremony and visit to Chandani fall. Ashok Jhabak, delivered a speech on the anniversary of most revered philosophers and spiritual leader, Swami Vivekananda. He informed Swami ji's vision for the youth of India and the vital role young people play in shaping the future of the nation. Many new members Palak Jain, Kashvi, Anant, Mahendra Tiwari etc. also joined the camping and actively participated in the program. 382024-202528-12-2024DHAMTARIYHAI Dhamtari organized 2D1N Odh Amamora Trekking and Training Program 2024YHAI Dhamtari Unit - CG State conducted 2D1N trekking cum training in Odh-Aamora, the last village of Chhattisgarh. The program was organized under the joint leadership of Hukum Chand Jain, Chairman of Dhamtari unit and Yogesh Gupta - Executive Member of Dhamtari Unit with approx 45 members at Odh-Aamora, the last village of Chhattisgarh. Participants experienced the beauty of Shimla in Chhattisgarh Odisha border of Gariaband district. Apart from Dhamtari unit, participants from Raipur and Bhilai units also participated in this event. This exciting & beautiful trekking was organized in a Kamar tribe dominated village deprived of modern materialistic comforts in Chhattisgarh. Program included Visit to 3 different waterfall , Trekking of four kilometers , Volley Ball match, Warm clothes, Slippers, Sports material distribution to the Kamar tribes in Odh village and Certificate distribution to the participants. The traditional Ganda instrument of Odh village in the campfire mesmerized everyone. Villagers also participated in the campfire in which local school girls along with members of youth hostels presented spontaneous and captivating dances. The taste of delicious food and tea and snacks prepared by the local people for two days became memorable for everyone. Dhamtari Unit President Rameshdev, Vice President Manish Chandrakar, Vice President Vishvesh Kotwani, Hemant Dekate, Secretary Subodh Mahawar, senior most member Dr. Anant Dixit and other members played a commendable role in giving shape to this event.
392024-202527-12-2024KORBAYHAI Korba and Bilaspur Unit Jointly Organized 3D2N Guru Ghasidas National Tiger Reserve Trekking & Training Program at Sonhut Baikunthpur CGYHAI Korba & Bilaspur Units 3days joint program concluded successfully. Youth hostels korba and bilaspur unit organized a 3 days 2 night trekking & training camp at Guru Ghasidas National Tiger Reserve, Sonhut, Chhattisgarh from 27th to 29th Dec 2024. Around 50 members of all age group participated in the program. The program was organised under the leadership of State Chairman Sandeep Seth. Shailesh Shukla, Vice President Coordinated the program. Members from Korba, Raipur, Bhilai , Bilaspur & Kabirdham actively participated. On the first day team visited Chirmiri and took the blessings of Lord Jagannath, followed by visit to Amritdhara and Gaurghat at Manendragarh. Second Day team visited Hasdev Udgam Place, Gram Mendra Kala,Sonhut and then entered the Guru Ghasidas National Tiger Reserve where the participants had a 3 KM River Trek in Gopad River, then the team visited Tidiya dam, Followed by Visit to Ancient Temple Maa Gangi Rani & Nageshwar Mahadev Beejadhur. In the second half raining started due to which members saw the clouds from Basauha Tower passing down same as though we are in some hill station like Shimla. Team also visited Balamgadhi Mountain. The forest trek was guided by Mr Deep Dubey and Mr Suraj Prakash of Sonhut. Members thanked them for their kind cooperation. In the evening Certificate Distribution Ceremory was graced by Shri Shailesh Shivhare Ex-Nagar Palika Adhayash as a Chief Guest. Shri Kamlesh Sharma( President Press Club), Shri Dushyant Kumar (Chief Editor of Dainik Samyak Kranti) and Educatiolist Shri Baba Martand were the Guest of Honour. Shri Shailesh Shivhare also Welcomed Sandeep Seth, Shailesh Shukla & P L Mirendra , Core members of the association and informed that we are ready to provide any kind of help to YHAI members whenever needed in future programs. Later on participants were given the certificates by the Guests. The program was followed by dinner. On the very last day team visited Jhumka Dam , Korea Palace and Khadgawan Mahamaya Temple. Members were surprised that Korea District of Chhattisgarh State is enriched with many unexplored monuments and forest zone. Rahul Gupta, Dr Nishant, Jai Prakash, Shailesh Shukla , P L Mirendra helped in management and Gargi, Shiv Kumari, Reena , Mohita, Yogesh, Anand, Vikas, R K Sahu, Kusum, Manju, Kaushal, Mukta, Manoj, Dr Verma, Kanti, Rajesh , Neeraj etc members participated in the program.
402024-202525-12-2024BILASPURYHAI Bilaspur Unit organized one day Bansnala Trekking , Training and Nature Study ProgramYHAI Bilaspur unit CG State organised 1 day Trekking and Training at Bansnala, Belgahana.Bilaspur unit organised the program under the leadership of unit Secretary Shailesh Shuka and President Bhaskar Chaurasiya. Around 70 members participated in the program. The program consisted of 8 KM Trekking, Fooding, Certification and a cultural program by Govt School Kids of village . YHAI honoured the participants and awarded cash award. Yhai members also distributed Blankets to the villagers. Students of the villagers were given study material also comprising of Copy , compass, pen , pencil , Sharper, etc. The participants, villagers enjoyed the overall program. Members from Bhilai, Raipur and Korba unit also participated in the Bilaspur unit program. State Chairman Sandeep Seth also joined the program.

Jubilee Celebration consisted of Cultural program , Stamp and Coin exibition under the leadership of K Suryanarayana, Delicious food, and honouring senior members. One day outdoor trip for the members who came from other states was also there which was extremely excellent. YHAI CG State presented a Memento to YHAI Bhimavaram Unit for successfully completing 35 years of journey. CG State also received participation memento from the host unit.Chhattisgarh state President Sunil Vishnoi , Chairman Sandeep Seth and all other state official congratulated the team.

442024-202507-12-2024CG-STATEYHAI CG State participated in Platinum Jubilee at Delhi and presented a Gedi DanceGedi dance presented in Youth Hostel Delhi, Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar became the national president of Youth Hostel. State Chairman of Youth Hostel Sandeep Seth told that on 7th and 8th December 2024, the Platinum Jubilee Celebration and Annual Meeting was organized on the completion of 75 years of Youth Hostel Association of India, Delhi. Dances from 10 different states were presented in the function. Along with this, the election of National President of Youth Hostel was also held in which Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was elected unopposed. State Chairman Sandeep Seth congratulated the Governor on becoming the National President again and presented a memento of Buster Arts. Gedi dance was prepared under the direction of Professor Dr. Bhaskar Chaurasia of Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. Unit Secretary Shailesh Shukla and Cultural Committee's Priyam Khare fully cooperated. National President of Youth Hostel for the dance presentation, His Excellency Rajendra Arlekar, Governor of Bihar praised and congratulated the children and also got their photo clicked.

A total of 135 people including the staff members were present in the program.

One day State trekking program was organized at Muchkund Rishi hill of Sondhur Dam in Dhamtari district. Approximately 60 members from Raipur, Bhilai, Korba, Rajnandgaon and Dhamtari Unit participated with great enthusiasm. Commendable Cooperation was received from all the units stake holders for the program. The Program was organized under the leadership of Dhamtari Unit Chairman Yogesh Gupta ji and State Vice President Hukum Jain which was fully supported by State APC Ramesh Dev & State Org. Secretary Subodh Dewangan along with other team members. Program consisted of Trekking, Hiking, Enjoyment, Delicious Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Certificate Distribution. At the end all the participants shared their experiences which was appreciated by all. The entire program was successfully completed under the guidance of our State President Shri Sunil Vishnoi , Chairman Sandeep Seth and his state team members.

The program included Marathon (Race to beat AIDS) and Clean Drive Mission to Keep Jagdalpur Clean & Green. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Basak, Dr. Maitri, Dr. Reena Lakshmi and Professor K.L. Azad participated as guest speakers. Dr. Basak resolved to make Bastar AIDS free by highlighting the horrors of PLHA, the changed name of AIDS. Approx 180 participants took part in th eprogram including YHAI members. Chairman Anil Lunkad informed that we will continue this activity everyyear. Ms Rekha, Dr. K L Azad, V S Jha, Anil agrawal, Ratan Vyas and many other members were present in the program.
