During this period, more than 450 people completed camping and trekking under his guidance. This area is at an altitude of about 12000 feet to 13500 feet above sea level. This was the first event of Youth Hostels in Devkyara. Rishi Kant made Bhilai unit and Chhattisgarh Youth Hostels proud by leading the camp in the national event.

About 65 women , men and children of all age groups participated in this exciting trekking organized in the dense jungle mountain of Chhattisgarh Madhya Pradesh border area , 100 km away from Durg Bhilai. Giving detailed information about the organization Unit Chairman K. Subramaniam told that the hilly , wild , difficult ups and downs and winding route from Khairagarh to Bhothali Bhujari fascinated everyone.The members completed an exciting track of about six km between the dense forest mountain , drain waterfall with mutual cooperation. Secretary Subodh Dewangan informed that there was unprecedented enthusiasm among the members for travel,trekking and adventure. About 65 men, women and children of all age groups participated in this exciting trekking organized in the dense forest mountain of Chhattisgarh Madhya Pradesh border area, 100 km away from Durg Bhilai. According to Secretary Subodh Dewangan, there was unprecedented enthusiasm among the members for travel, trekking and adventure. The view in the middle of the cave under the mountain was very mesmerizing. Certificates were distributed to the participants after a delicious lunch at the base camp. Local children and villagers also participated in the meal. On this occasion the organization distributed fruits among the local children. The next stop of trekking was the panoramic area of Betal Rani Valley in front of Chhindari Reservoir on Chhuikhadan Salhewara road. According to eyewitnesses, this valley with sixteen turns is more exciting and beautiful than the famous Keskal valley. The members were overwhelmed with emotion after observing the natural scenery around there. Seeing the beauty of that place, no one had any desire to return. The main architects of this event were Rajesh Mishra and Ashish Mishra. Village head of Bhujari Rajaram Markam and his team played a commendable role in forest area tracking. Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh and Chhuikhadan were also participants in this event. 422023-202429-01-2023BHILAIMegalithic Monument Karkabhat Bhilai and Dhamtari unit jointly organized a one-day trekking in Ranimai Siyadehi forest area. In which 70 male and female members of all age groups participated.Giving detailed information regarding the event, Chairman of Bhilai Unit, K.Subramanyam said that the members were very thrilled to see the megalithic archaeological site at Karkabhat on the Balod-Dhamtari National Highway for the first time. According to the information received from experts, this archaeological remains is about five thousand years old and is the largest among the megalithic period monuments available so far in the Asian continent. Subodh Dewangan, Joint Secretary of the State Branch, said that as the next stop, the members took the darshan of Adishakti at Ranimai Temple Narra surrounded by forests and trekked about four kilometers in the forest state. The track was completed with mutual cooperation in the forested hilly area with ups and downs. At many places the track was possible with the help of rope. 45 children of Vandemataram Vidyalaya also participated in the event. The children present in the trekking for the first time were very happy to see the geographical topography of Jungle Pahad, different types of trees and plants, the forest burning with Palash flowers and colorful flowers and birds. Senior member of the organization and APC in-charge of the state branch, Ramesh Dev told that, after that, the next stop was Siyadehi temple area, where the members had lunch in the afternoon after having darshan with devotion. After half an hour's rest, the track started again, which was about two kilometers. This track was even more risky and exciting. Yogesh Gupta, Chairman Dhamtari Unit, said that the last stop of the campaign was Barhi Dam, Kholdongri; Where the members visited the hilly area above the temple after seeing Mahadev enshrined in a shell under the mountain. The natural scenery in all four directions from here is very beautiful. Ramesh Dev, Yogesh Gupta, Dhananjay Sonkar, local guides Raj Sahu and Birbal Bhai played an active role in giving shape to the event. In making this event successful, all the children of Vande Mataram Vidyalaya along with their staff Shraddha Rathi, Dr. Amar Singh Sahu, Shakuntala Sahu, Prof. P. C.
