372021-202202-10-2021KORBAShankar Khola trekking , training, plantation and Clean Drive programOn the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi YHAI KORBA UNIT CG state organised one day trekking and training program to Shankar Khola. This program was organised for multiple events together. Firstly before starting trekking we planted many saplings of Mango, Guava, Jamun etc at various locations . Then the team started to have a trek in dense forest . All the participants saw the beauty of nature in this forest. While returning team members performed clean drive program and collected 2 sacs of polyethylene and disposed them accordingly. Team also distributed fruits , eatables and helped the Poor's old age peoples by giving them some CASH. Team members present in the program were Sandeep Seth, Satish Shukla, M L Sahu, Mrs. and Mr. Shailendra Namdeo, Mrs and Mr. DB Subba, R S Sahu, Anita Chacko and other new participants. Junior members Paras and Ayush and Amal also participated in the program. At the end, Certificate distribution was done to the participants.
382021-202226-09-2021KORBAYHAI Korba Elections 26.09.2021 2021-2024Tri-annual elections of Youth hostel association on India Korba unit CG State was held successfully. Tri-annual elections of YHAI KORBA unit was held on 26 sep 2021 at Zee technology Budhwari korba. Mr. E Jayan was appointed as election officer. Two scrutiny officers Mr Tribhuvan Kaushik and Mrs Neelu subba were also appointed. All the members were elected unopposed. The Elected body members for 2021-24 are President- Satish Shukla, Vice President - 1. Dr. Sanjay Tiwari 2. Manoj Mishra. Chairman - Sandeep Seth, Treasurer- Mr D B Subba, Secretary Mr Shailendra Namdeo and organising Secretary Mr. Vijesh were nominated by the chairman after discussion with the elected body members. Other nominated committee members are Shyam Kewat, Adventure Promotion committee , Mr Vikas Patel Environment Protection committee, Mrs Reena Mishra Cultural program committee . Mr Mohal lal Sahu, Mrs Renuka Sahu, Mr Rahul Gupta were nominated as executive body members. Chairman Mr Sandeep Seth informed that korba unit is working very effectively in CG state and asked the members to be ready to organize or participate in any program or event scheduled by the YHAI. Unit President Satish Shukla asked the members to make short trekking program every month. Secretary Shailendra Namdeo declared next program for 2nd October at Shanker Khola Korkoma and gave vote of thanks. Mr K Subramanyam was election observer from CG state. He congratulated all the elected/nominated members.
392021-202222-09-2021KORBAPeace for Sleep" YHAI Korba jointly with CG state brnch participated in International Peace Day on 21st September 2021 and distributes meals to the needy childrens.Yhai Korba unit along with CG state branch also participated in the program Peace For Sleep.Food packets were distributed to small childrens on the international day of peace. The program was held Near Sani Temple station road.Satish Shukla unit President along with active members Mr Vijesh, Mr Bipin Misra, Mr. Shyam Kewat were present in the program. Junior members Vihaan and Vitul were also present in the program. State Chairman and Secretary Sandeep Seth and Subramanyam K congratulated all the team members for successfully conducting the program.
402021-202229-07-2021KORBASeed Distribution to 12 States 29.07.2021YHAI CG state EPC member Mr. Shailendra Namdeo posted about he Seed / Saplings of Baijanti Moti in facebook gardening group. You all know that Lord Sri Krishna loved Baijanti Moti and used to wore the garland of that Moti. After posting, EPC received around 50 calls from different parts of India demanding the seed/sapling. We asked them to send their address and finally we received 42 address from different states as listed below: Uttarakhand - 01 Rajasthan - 08 Uttar Pradesh - 12 Haryana - 04 Delhi - 03 Madhya Pradesh - 04 Bihar - 01 Jharkhand - 01 Gujarat - 02 Maharashtra - 02 Punjab - 03 Andra Pradesh -01 Finally, the seeds of Baijanti, sunflower, vermilion (kumkum), marigold, lotus were sent by post to all the 40 members who demanded it. It is believed that this will increase the awareness of the Environment among the people.

Team planted arround 20 Saplings and 40 seeds in various locations. Many fruitful saplings including Guava, Jamun, Mango, Peeple, Amla, Badam, Neem , Baigan, Lauki etc. Family members of EPC DB Subba, Secretary Shailendra Namdeoji and Chairman Sandeep Seth were present during the program.

Jamun, Badam, Neem, Ashok and other saplings were planted. The team also took oath to protect them till they grow up. Korba Presdident Satish Shukla , State EPC Shailendra Namdeo, Unit APC DB Subba , Exe. Members Shiv Shankar, Swati, Seema Shukla, Junior member Sankalp and State Chairman Sandeep Seth were present in the program.
432020-202114-02-2021KORBAYhai Korba Unit - Public awareness program (Phase -2) to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green. 14.02.2021Yhai Korba unit CG state organised the public awareness program Phase -II from Balco to the picnic spot Coffee point Korba. Covered approximate 30 KM from Korba. DFO Shri N Gurunathan with his wife also joined the program. YHAI Korba members Satish Shukla, Shailendra Namdeo , Rahul Gupta , Sharda Namdeo and Sandeep Seth were present and fixed approximately 30 Public Awareness flex in the area. Team also took advantage of viewing Sunrise at Coffee point Korba at an altitude of approximately 486 Mtr above sea level. This time our Lady Member Smt Sharda Namdeo and Korba President Shri Satish Shukla of 64 Years also fixed flex along with other member. DFO Shri Gurunathan congratulations us for this noble cause. Chairman Sandeep Seth also thanked Smt Sharda Namdeo and Satish Shuka for showing their gesture.
442020-202130-01-2021KORBAYHAI Korba unit jointly with Chasma Ghar Korba organised a FREE EYE CHECKUP Camp on 30.01.2021YHAI Korba unit jointly with Chasma Ghar Korba organised a FREE EYE CHECKUP Camp for its members . As we all know that "health is wealth" . On the same theme a camp for all the members was organised on 30.01.2021 from 5PM to 8PM. CG State and Unit Chairman of korba unit Sandeep Seth informed proudly that in CORONO pandemic also the unit successfully organised 15 programs from April 2020 till Jan 2021. The program was successfully conducted and around 40 members took advantage of it. Camp was inaugurated by Unit President Shri Satish Shukla. Dr. Smt Chanda Sethia Bhatt examined all the members. All the members were very glad as this type of activity was conducted for the first time in korba. Unit secretary Shailendra Namdeo and EPC korba DB Subba announced that this camp will be done every year from now onward. Suman seth, M R Pati , Seema Shukla activity participated in the program and were present from 5 to 8 pm. Paleshwar singh, ML Sahu , Tomar family , Sharma family and Gupta family made the program a grand success. Executive body meeting was held after the camp and many new decision were taken by the body to promote the activities. Korba unit honored Mr Nitin the owner of Chasma Ghar and Dr. Smt Chanda with the Certificate.
452020-202124-01-2021KORBAYhai Korba Unit - Public awareness program to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green on 24.01.2021Yhai Korba Unit CG state organised a Public awareness program to protect Environment, Animals and to Keep Environment Clean and Green. On call from our unit President Shri Satish Shukla a team of four member was formed for the event. State Chairman Sandeep Seth along with Environment Protection Committee member DB Subba and Rahul Gupta approached korba D.F.O. Shri N. Gurunathan for the permission. After taking permission Korba unit jointly with Forest Division Korba made public awareness flexes. The flex had slogans to Protect Environment, Save animals, Say No to Plastic, Prevent Fire in forest, Use dustbin etc. Team Korba went to 3 picnics spots Rani Jharna, Satrenga, Boda Nala and it's nearby areas and fixed around 50 flexes at various spots and also asked the public to follow the rules and discipline to keep the surrounding clean and green. Team Also planted Almond saplings near by areas with tree guard and arranged the security of it. Team covered around 100 km area today. The report will be sent to DFO and many such spots will be covered in coming days. The full financial support was borne by YHAI Korba unit in this public awareness program. Unit secretary Shailendra Namdeo along with Shyam and Vijesh also gave there full support in organising the program.
462020-202117-01-2021KORBAYHAI Korba Unit - Trekking & Training Program at RANI JHARNA, Ajgarbahar Korba 17.01.2021YHAI Korba unit CG state organised one day Trekking and Training program at RANI JHARNA , Ajgarbahar Korba. Arround 70 participants actively took part in it. The trek was around 7 KM. All the participants had a delicious breakfast and left over to Trek after proper instruction from the unit Chairman Sandeep Seth. The trek leader were DB Subba and Satish Shukla. The team fully enjoyed in the trek as it was the longest Trek after a year. Team had a healthy lunch after the trek followed by Certificate distribution ceremony. Secretary Shailendra Namdeoji made proper trek marking for all. Team also made banners to avoid use of plastic, clean environment clean and green and hanged on the trees. Many new members joined this trekking program.At the end, Clean drive program was done in near by areas of the spot and the garbage was disposed properly.

482020-202107-01-2021KORBAUnused Cloth Distribution Program at Leprosy Aashram on 07.01.2021 YHAI Korba unit CG state organised "Unused Cloth Distribution Program" on 7.01.2021 at Leprosy Ashram, Motisagarpara. Around 300 pairs of cloth(Old/New) and 30 New Blankets were distributed by us. Around 20 YHAI volunteers were involved in the program. YHAI got full support from the local Parshad of Motisagarpara Mrs & Mr. Santosh. We are thankful to both of them. The clothes were donated by around 20 families. New Blankets were donated by Mr Satish Shukla unit President, Mrs Suman Seth, Mr. R S Sahu, Mrs & Mr Manoj Mishra and Mr. Shailendra Namdeo. Ladies member Reena,Anita, Riya, Nilu, Poonam, Mayarani, Reeta, Rolly, Sharda and Kalpana had special contribution in making the program a success. Other active members involved were Subba, Vishal, Shyam, Vijesh, Vikas, Ravindra and Sandeep.
