1 2023-2024 17-12-2023 CG-STATE Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State Branch Completed One Day Trek Cum Trainingprogram at Sutiapat Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State Branch Completed One Day Trek Cum Trainingprogram at Sutiapat.Youth Hostels Association of India, Chhattisgarh State Branch, organized a state level one-day trekking cum training camp at Maa Hinglaj Bhavani Temple, Sutiapat Reservoir, Sahaspur, Lohara, District Kawardha. Around 55 members of all age groups participated enthusiastically in this event. The members were mesmerized by the unimaginable panoramic geographical topography of Sutiapat Reservoir, surrounded by mountains, covered with trees and plants. That place was definitely giving the members a feeling of fantasyland in today's mechanical lifestyle.The members trekked two kilometers up the hill and reached the Maa Hinglaj Bhavani temple. The members also enjoyed delicious food and tea and snacks at the base camp Krishna Kamal Goshala complex amidst dense forests. In the evening people shared their experiences in the campfire.While going to Sutiyapat, the members also visited Adishakti Chandi Mata Temple, Biranpur. All the members played an active role in making the event successful. After participating in the event, all the members returned home with a happy heart and cherished precious unforgettable memories.
2 2023-2024 25-11-2023 CG-STATE YHAI CG State organised a 2D1N T&T Program at Mainpaat YHAI CG States Mainpaat Trekking & Training program concludes with Campfire in Golden Island.2D1N Mainpaat trekking and training program was organized by Korba unit of Youth Hostel in which 35 people participated. The program started by flagging off by Satish Shukla and cutting the anniversary cake of Vijesh and Riya in the forest of Devpahari.The program included Trekking at Sita Bengra Caves, Ram Van Gaman Path, Tin Tinni Patthar, Ulta Paani, Trekking at Tiger Point, Mehta Point, Camp Fire, Housie, Certificate Distribution, Karaoke Song, Musical Chair, Buddhist Temple and Daldali Visit.State Chairman Sandeep Seth said that the program concluded with a campfire in the moonlight at Golden Island.PL Mirendra, Rajesh, Divya, Rahul, Dr Nishant contributed in making the program successful. Preeti, Shiv Kumari, Bharti, Riya, Indira Lahare along with their entire family and Arvind, Tribhovan and Rudra Sahu ji participated in the program.
3 2023-2024 20-10-2023 CG-STATE YHAI CG State with Korba and Bilaspur Unit jointly Organised 3D2N Nature Study Cum Training Program to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee Year of YHA India. YHAI CG State with Korba and Bilaspur Unit jointly Organised 3D2N Nature Study Cum Training Program to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee Year of YHA India.The first YHAI CG State's interstate program organised and streamlined by State Chairman Sandeep Seth from 20-24th Oct 2023 at Vishakhapatnam. *75 members (Platinum Jubilee) participated in the program including 37 Students and Staff of CPWS, Bilaspur(Institutional Member). Raipur Unit team provided delicious dinner to all the participants in the train. We booked 2 buses at VIZAG. First day we visited Kailashgiri, Rishikonda beach, Indian Metrological department ( Weather forecast station), Tineeti Park, riding Toy Train, witnessed the Telugu Greatman atTelugu Museum followed by enjoying at RK Beach. Second Day we visited Navy Dockyard, INS SINDHUSHASTRA Submarine, War Ship RANVIJAY, TU142 Museum, Sea Harrier Museum. Third day we visited BORRA caves, Arku Valley etc. We organised Certificate Distribution Program in the evening. Mr. C. Ravipaul (National Vice President), Mr. K Surya Narayana, Mr. P Satyanandam ji were present in the program from A.P. State Branch. Shri K Surya Narayana presented shawl to all the Executive Members of CG State. CG State also presented Mementos to AP YHAI members.We had a tough and hactic schedule and walked around 30 KM in 3 days and gave our best. Although all were tired. But all have enjoyed the trip and will remember the trip throughout their life. On return we celebrated Birthday of Taniya, School Student at Bilaspur Station.Special thanks to all the volunteers of YHAI Satish Shukla, Shailesh Shukla, CDR Sandeep Murarka, Dr. Bhaskar Chourasia, Dr. Nishant, Rahul Gupta, Subash Panda who were present thgrougout the program 3D2N Nature study and training camp.

In order to promote YHAI and its activities the session was organised with students and Staff. YHAI Mission , Vision and other related National/State/Units level program detail was Shared with them. Principal Dr. Ms Rekha and Admin Manager Mr Nitesh Gopal gave their valuable time and supported the YHAI Team. We got the Institutional Membership and also the school promoted YHAI by informing us that in upcoming school will send their Students. YHAI members who were present in the session were State Vice President Shailesh Shukla, State Council Member Rahul Gupta and Chairman Sandeep Seth. Team thanked the Principal Madam for her gesture.

9 2023-2024 30-04-2023 CG-STATE Yhai CG State jointly with Korba unit organized a Cheer Leader Meet Yhai CG State jointly with Korba unit organized a Cheer Leader Meet today for our Senior Member Mohal Lal Sahu and Mrs. Renuka. Executive Director of DSPM State Electric Board & PATRON of Korba Unit Shri BD Baghel and Mrs Sonia Baghel were special guest. Program was held at CSEB Senior Club Korba . Program started with memories of 25 years of Mr M L Sahu in YHAI , followed by Cake cutting ceremony, Karaoke songs, Group Photography followed by Dinner. ML Sahu ji was awarded with life time award at the ceremony. Program was organized under the leadership of Shri Satish Shukla , Sandeep Seth, Manoj Mishra and Atul Gupta. Members who helped in coordination were Mrs. Reena Mishra , Mr. PL Mirendra, Shailendra Namdeo and other members of YHAI. Many members along with Senior members Mrs Suman Seth, Mrs Sharma, Shyam, Vijesh, Nilu were present in the program. Around 70 members were present in the program.
10 2022-2023 29-01-2023 CG-STATE CPC- CG State-Participated in Republic Day Celebration 2023 Cultural Pgogram Committee Member YHAI CG State Ms. Priyam Khare, on call from National Office informed that National Office requested to give a Instrumental presetatation video on Republic Day Celebration 2023. The program was conducted ONLINE on 29th Jan Sunday. CG State accepted the proposal. Shri Sunil Vishnoi, President CG State along with Priyam took responsibility and gathered our members for instrumental playback on the patriotic theme.The instrumental mix songs were played by Mr. Vinod(Harmonium) and Mr Swapnil(Tabla). Final Video was sent to state and Chairman Sandeep Seth edited and shared the video to National Office for presentation.
11 2022-2023 02-01-2023 CG-STATE CG State Welcomed Debashish ji from Meghalaya and Prepared 10 Days Schedule Visit to CG YHAI CG State Branch welcomed Mr Debashishji YHAI member of Meghalaya and his family. State prepared a schedule where he visited Jagdalpur,Raipur, Korba, Bilaspur. CDR Sandeep Murarka, Anil Lukand, S L Gupta, Rekha, V S Jha and Vinit Agrawal ji helped him for stay, site seeing etc. At Korba Sandeep Seth, D B Subba, Rahul Gupta, Nilu Subba, Suman Seth and others coordinated with him for his stay arrangements. We arranged the visit to different places during his 2 days trip to korba Thermal Power Station Visit (DSPM Korba), Darri Barrage (Dam), Sarvmangla Temple,Bhawani Temple, Satrenga,Devpahari water Fall. State President Sunil Vishnoi made stay arrangements at Raipur. Shailesh Shukla made all arrangements at Bilaspur.

CEO Rupesh Pandey ji was also present from National Office YHAI Delhi. Many fruitful discuss was held by the State Chairman Sandeep Seth with Shri Atal Shrivastava ji (Chairman Tourism Board), Ms Veena Sendra (Brand Ambassador, CG Tourism Board), Shri Anil Kumar Sahu MD CTB. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel ji was the Chief Guest. Other Dignatories were Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Ms. Chitralekha Sahu. 15 2022-2023 26-09-2022 CG-STATE YHAI CG States Presentation on the eve of World Tourism Day 2022 Modern College of Management and Information Technology, Korba invited YHAI CG State to give a presentation on YHAI on 27th September but due to Tourism Conclave program on 27th we preponed to 26th. Students and college staff actively took part in the session. A 40 minutes presentation was given by State Chairman Sandeep Seth to approx 100 student. Chairman explained the college students how Tourism, Environment and Students are directly linked to YHAI by the Presentation. State Organising Secretary Mr Satish Shukla and State EPC Mr Shailendra Namdeo were also present in the meet.Principal of the college Dr. Hashim welcomed the team. After the presentation a query session was also conducted in which all the queries were answered. Students were very Happy and eager to join the YHAI. A proposal for institutional member to college and also individual membership to students was given by the YHAI team. Trekking and training prgram will be organised for the college students and staff soon.

Many important decision were taken in the meeting. Duty for upcoming Tourism Conclave program was assigned to members which is being organised by CG Tourism Board on 27th Sep on the World Tourism day.
17 2022-2023 15-08-2022 CG-STATE YHAI CG State Participated in Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 15th Aug Hosted by YHAI National Office YHAI CG State participated in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program hosted online by National Office on 15th August 2022 and celebrated 75th Independence Day with Cultural Promotion Committee members through Zoom at 10AM. On this Occasion Cultural Promotion Committee had organised the following online competitions in which CG State participated in 1) Rangoli 2) Poetry - English & Hindi 3) Solo song. CG State also participated in Special Cultural Performance ( dance) consisting of 16 states.YHAI CG State got one consolation prize sent from Bhilai Unit by Ms Manju Maurya.
18 2022-2023 13-08-2022 CG-STATE Participation in All India National Integration & Youth Leadership Camp at Asansol YHAI CG State participated in All India National Integration & Youth Leadership Camp to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence -Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- Hosted by YHAI West Bengal at Asansol from 13th to 15th August. Mr Subramanyam and Ms Priyam Khare from CG State escorted the team. Mr Manish Kotwani and 9 more artist students took part in the program.
19 2022-2023 17-07-2022 CG-STATE MoU Between CTB and YHAI MoU Signed and Executed between Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board (CTB) and Youth Hostels Association of India(YHAI) 17/7/ 2022. Under this YHAI will now have joint participation in tourism promotion activities of CTB. At present, Monsoon Food Festival is also being organized by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board at various places of the state, whose first event was organized on Sunday 17/07/2022 in Raipur. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Atal Shrivastava ji, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Hon'ble Mrs. Chitrarekha Sahu ji, Vice President. YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth informed that Mr. Anil Kumar Sahu (IFS) Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board, Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Advisor State Planning Commission, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Arun Kumar Pandey Secretary Biodiversity Board. , Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Prem Kumar, Additional Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of Chhattisgarh and Mr. Rupesh Pandey, Chief Executive Officer, Youth Hostels were present in the program. On this occasion, YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth, Korba Unit President Satish Shukla, K Subramanyam, Shailesh Shukla, Mansoor Khan, Ajay Srivastava, Sandeep Murarka, Shashank Moge, Ashok Jhabak, Sunil Vishnoi etc. were present. . All the officials and members of all units of the youth hostels have expressed their happiness. Youth Hostel Association is an international organization having hostels in 97 countries including India. This is the second largest NGO in the United Nation, which has about 1600 members in Chhattisgarh and more than 250 units in all the states in India and 8 units are working in the state including Korba. Organizes trekking, cycling, environmental protection, human service, and cultural activities at non-profit rates.
20 2021-2022 24-12-2021 CG-STATE 3D2N State Camp at SATRENGA, Korba from 24 to 26 Dec 2021 Amrit Mahotsav program concluded under the joint aegis of Youth Hostel Association and Forest Department Korba Korba DFO Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest! Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State's 3-day state iron tracking and training program under the joint aegis of Forest Department, Korba, concluded on 26th December at Satrenga. About 80 participants from Raipur, Korba, Raigad, Bilaspur, Kawardha districts participated in this tracking and training program under the leadership of state chairman Sandeep Seth.On the first day of the program on 24th, the participants were taught tracking (5 KM), setting up of tents. In the severe cold at night, everyone enjoyed the campfire. On the second day, on the 25th, after tea and breakfast, everyone was made boating. After that a cleanliness drive was carried out in Satrenga in collaboration with the Forest Department. 4 sacks of garbage were collected. Later a 1400 year old Sal tree was shown. Then the panoramic trek of Rani Jharna was done under the leadership of Subba, Vikas and Rahul in collaboration with the Forest Department, which was a trek of about 9 KM.While returning from Rani Jharna, the entire trek was cleaned by the team and 6 bags of garbage were removed. On the second day also, camp fire was done again in the night. On the last day of the program everyone was taken to Devpahari. Everyone enjoyed a lot in this program of Youth Hostel because in the 3 day program everyone enjoyed cleanliness drive, trekking, boating, camping, campfire, jungle trekking, bird watching under Amrit Festival. Korba DFO Mrs. Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest at the conclusion of the program. She presented certificates to all the participants. Mrs. Priyanka Pandey told how harmful carbon emissions are for all of us. Priyanka Pandey appealed to the youth and told how its emissions can be reduced. State Chairman of Youth Hostel Sandeep Seth presented a memento while thanking the chief guest. Unit President Mr. Satish Shukla had a special contribution in making this program successful.Along with this, Tracking Officer Vikas Patel and Rahul Gupta led the entire track. EPC Shailendra Namdev, Shailesh Shukla, Sunil Vishnoi, Ashok Jhabak, Shashank Moghe, Mansoor Khan, Dr. Nishant Agarwal, Dhanbahadur Subba did commendable work in making the program a success.

State received second prize in music competetion held at delhi. Participants were Mr Shailesh Shukla, Mr. Subash Panda, Mr. L K Dwivedi from Bilaspur, Raigarh & Dhamtari with Sandeep Seth, Sunil Visnoi and K Subramanyam.
22 2021-2022 29-08-2021 CG-STATE One day Monsoon trek on 29.08.2021(Sunday) at Parry Ghumar, District Gariaband Chhattisgarh. YHAI CG state branch organised 1 day monsoon trek on 29.08.2021(Sunday) @Parry Ghumar , District Gariaband Chhattisgarh. Around 70 participants participated in this program from various units Dhamtari, Raipur, Korba, Bhilai and Bilaspur. The program was organised by Mr. Ramesh Dev, APC, CG State along with Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Chairman, Dhamtari Unit, and Mr. Hukum Chand Jain, Program Coordinator. The team visited Rajim, Holy place of Hindus and took blessings @ Rajiv Lochan Temple, and then the team visited Bhuteshwar Nath Temple at Gariaband District where Asia longest SHIV-LING is there and is increasing naturally. Then after, team had a trek of around 3 KM in dense forest and reached Parry Ghoomer spot. Participants had Breakfast, Lunch and Evening tea at various spots. Program ended with Certificate distribution. The State members present in the program were Sandeep Seth(Chairman), K Subramanyam( Secretary), Satish Shukla ( Org. Secretary), Sunil Visnoi (NC Member), Shailesh Shukla(NC Member) Ramesh Dev (APC), Shailendra Namdeo (EPC), Yogesh Gupta(Chairman-Dhamtari Unit). Program was organised as per the protocols of COVID-19.
23 2021-2022 29-07-2021 CG-STATE Seed Distribution to 12 States 29.07.2021 YHAI CG state EPC member Mr. Shailendra Namdeo posted about he Seed / Saplings of Baijanti Moti in facebook gardening group. You all know that Lord Sri Krishna loved Baijanti Moti and used to wore the garland of that Moti. After posting, EPC received around 50 calls from different parts of India demanding the seed/sapling. We asked them to send their address and finally we received 42 address from different states as listed below: Uttarakhand - 01 Rajasthan - 08 Uttar Pradesh - 12 Haryana - 04 Delhi - 03 Madhya Pradesh - 04 Bihar - 01 Jharkhand - 01 Gujarat - 02 Maharashtra - 02 Punjab - 03 Andra Pradesh -01 Finally, the seeds of Baijanti, sunflower, vermilion (kumkum), marigold, lotus were sent by post to all the 40 members who demanded it. It is believed that this will increase the awareness of the Environment among the people.
24 2021-2022 30-06-2021 CG-STATE Yoga Activity jointly by CG state and Raigarh Unit YHAI CG State jointly with Raigarh Unit and its Institutional Member O P Jindal School Raigarh organised a Virtual Yoga Activity on International Yoga Day 2021. Around 250 participants participated in the program. Few school teachers along with Unit President and School Principal were physically present in the School for doing YOGA and students were present virtually through zoom meeting. Principal Mr. R K Trivedi also participated in the YOGA day activity. Raigarh Unit President Mr. Sanjay Debnath suggested the benefits of YOGA to all the members virtually. YOGA instructor Mrs. Manju Gupta also gave important tips for doing the YOGA. State Chairman and Secretary congratulated and thanked the School management for conducting a program successfully.
25 2021-2022 27-06-2021 CG-STATE YHAI CG State branch with Korba unit organised a Saplings plantation on 27.06.2021 YHAI CG state jointly with Korba Unit organised a Saplings plantation on Rajgamar Road today. Team planted arround 20 Saplings and 40 seeds in various locations. Many fruitful saplings including Guava, Jamun, Mango, Peeple, Amla, Badam, Neem , Baigan, Lauki etc. Family members of EPC DB Subba, Secretary Shailendra Namdeoji and Chairman Sandeep Seth were present during the program.
26 2021-2022 05-06-2021 CG-STATE Sapling Plantation on World Environment day by YHAI CG Satte Branch 05.06.2021 YHAI CG State jointly with YHAI Korba Unit organised a sapling plantation program on 5th June on World Environment Day at Nand Bagh, Korba. Jamun, Badam, Neem, Ashok and other saplings were planted. The team also took oath to protect them till they grow up. 28 2020-2021 25-05-2020 CG-STATE Online Quiz during LOCK DOWN 4.0 due to COVID-19 From 25.5.2020 to 31.05.2020 It was an open forum for all (Members & Non Members). In all 529 participated. Real-time certificates were sent to 480 participants as they scored 40% & above and the rest were below 40% marks. Participants were from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Bihar, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Tripura, MP, Kerala, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana & Gujarat.

31 2019-2020 22-12-2019 CG-STATE ATR Nature Study & Trekking Cum Training Program 22-23 Dec 2019 at Bilaspur CG State Branch jointly with Korba unit successfully organized 2 Day 1 Night Achanakmar Tiger Reserve Nature Study & Trekking cum Training Program-2019. Around 58 participants including kids participated in the state program. Participants of Korba, Raipur, Bilaspur, Kharsia, Raigarh, Dhamtari and Bhilai of Chhattisgarh State participated in the program. All the participants gathered at Bilaspur station and reached Baiga Resort Shivtarai by bus. 33 2019-2020 18-08-2019 CG-STATE CG State Branch Jointly with KORBA Unit Around 50 Members including new, participated in the program on 18th Aug 19. Nearly 12 junior members from our new Institute IYER Coaching Classess also participated actively. After giving proper instructions to all the participants at Licensee Youth Hostel Hotel SHALIN by the Korba Chairman Sandeep Seth the team proceeded to Madwarani about 25 KM from Korba.After doing sapling plantation by the team the trek started. A inclined trek of 5 KM took about 2 hours. Musical program was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Ravi. Certificate distribution was done after taking lunch. On return the team collected 3 sacs and 7 big polythene of plastic garbage which was disposed properly later near Korba. Female members and youngster did a tremendous work for garbage collection.
34 2019-2020 27-06-2019 CG-STATE YHAI CG State in Media Chairman Sandeep Seth & Secretary K.Subramanyam were at FM Radio station for briefing the activities of YHAI. Officials of FM Radio were surprised to note that in Chhattisgarh they have such type of institution were trekking activities are conducted in State and across the Country. Officials of FM Radio Station assured that in future they too will join these events & will help us in generating memberships.
