During the event, senior trekker Chandrakant Bhai Gandhi was felicitated for his contributions. The celebration featured fun games and colorful cultural performances, in which members participated with great enthusiasm. The games were conducted by Kajal Munjwani, Ekta Singh, and Manish Chandrakar. The event featured evening tea, dinner, and kheer at midnight. Everyone enjoyed the experience. Around 40 participants from various age groups, including some from Raipur, took part. The trekking route was planned by Unit President Ramesh Dev and Treasurer Venkateshwar Sahu. Senior State Council member Dr. Anant Dixit briefed new participants about the association's work and the tradition of organizing such treks during Sharad Purnima. Fun games were conducted by Manish Chandrakar, Ekta Singh, Dr. Preeti Verma, Kajal Moonjwani, and Lakshmi Dewangan. The temple committee was honored with a gifted clock, and several members including National Council Member Yogesh Gupta, APC Dhananjay Sonkar, and others from Raipur and Joshimath joined the event.

YHAI Dhamtari Unit CG State organized Aara Track cum Kanwar Yatra on 27/07/25.Chairman, Hukam Chand said that due to the month of Sawan, this religious and natural track has been organized on the demand of the members. While giving information about the organization, President Ramesh Dev said that Youth Hostel has been doing the work of environmental awareness and trekking in Dhamtari for the last two decades. The track work was completed under the leadership of Dhananjay Sonkar and Yogesh Gupta. The track started from Rudreshwar Ghat and ended after trekking to Baba Koteshwar Mahadev and back to Gahandar Dhara from there. Subodh Mahavar, Dr. Shesh Narayan Chandrakar, Satram Vashni, Dr. Bhupendra Soni, Dr. Shakti Verma, Dr. Preeti Verma, Dr. Dharmendra Singha, Dr. Preeti Sinha, Sagar Kaushik etc were present in the trek.

YHAI Members were overwhelmed by seeing the greenery around and enjoyed water sports at Gangrel Dam. 60 members of all age group from Dhamtari, Raipur, Bhilai, Durg, Kurud etc. participated in the program. Chairman , Hukam Chand Jain said that the Youth Hostel has always been organizing adventure trekking activities for which it gets a good response not only from Dhamtari but also from the trekkers of the nearby cities. In the program, President Ramesh Dev, Vice President Vishwesh Kotwani, Treasurer Venkatesh Sahu, Yogesh Gupta along with Vaishnavi Gupta, Rahul Gupta, Dhananjay Sonkar etc. were present.

The chairman of the organization, Hukum Chand, said that this program has been designed to give the children the pleasure of a pool party in the scorching heat. 62024-202528-12-2024DHAMTARIYHAI Dhamtari organized 2D1N Odh Amamora Trekking and Training Program 2024YHAI Dhamtari Unit - CG State conducted 2D1N trekking cum training in Odh-Aamora, the last village of Chhattisgarh. The program was organized under the joint leadership of Hukum Chand Jain, Chairman of Dhamtari unit and Yogesh Gupta - Executive Member of Dhamtari Unit with approx 45 members at Odh-Aamora, the last village of Chhattisgarh. Participants experienced the beauty of Shimla in Chhattisgarh Odisha border of Gariaband district. Apart from Dhamtari unit, participants from Raipur and Bhilai units also participated in this event. This exciting & beautiful trekking was organized in a Kamar tribe dominated village deprived of modern materialistic comforts in Chhattisgarh. Program included Visit to 3 different waterfall , Trekking of four kilometers , Volley Ball match, Warm clothes, Slippers, Sports material distribution to the Kamar tribes in Odh village and Certificate distribution to the participants. The traditional Ganda instrument of Odh village in the campfire mesmerized everyone. Villagers also participated in the campfire in which local school girls along with members of youth hostels presented spontaneous and captivating dances. The taste of delicious food and tea and snacks prepared by the local people for two days became memorable for everyone. Dhamtari Unit President Rameshdev, Vice President Manish Chandrakar, Vice President Vishvesh Kotwani, Hemant Dekate, Secretary Subodh Mahawar, senior most member Dr. Anant Dixit and other members played a commendable role in giving shape to this event.

Members from Bhilai, Raipur and Balod also joined the trek.Chairman Yogesh Gupta told that after reaching the waterfall, members mesmerized the Godhas waterfall by the beauty of the place. The joy of eating passed away. Members also visited Patora Dam after enjoying the waterfall. There after a visit to Yogeswar temple was scheduled where the participants had food and Prasad.The trek was organized under the leadership of Unit Chairman Yogesh Gupta and State APC Ramesh Dev. Dhananjay Sokar, Gopal Tamrakar, Pooja Sahu, Malti Mahawar, Rakesh Mahawar, Dr. S.N. chandrakar, Dr. P.C. Under the joint aegis of Youth Hostels Association of India, Dhamtari unit and Bhilai unit, a one-day monsoon adventure bike trekking was organized at Gajpalla Water Fall, Gariaband. Members from Dhamtari, Durg Bhilai, Raipur and Rajnandgaon gathered at this beautiful, exciting place, little known, unknown, and enjoyed the rain, biking, trekking and water falls to their heart's content. Giving detailed information regarding the event, Dhamtari Unit Chairman Yogesh Gupta said that despite being a joint event of two units, it was in a way like a Chhattisgarh state level event. This monsoon adventure bike trekking was prepared by Yogesh Gupta, Dhananjay Sonkar and Gopal Tamrakar. Sunny Vasani, Prapti Vasani, Naveen Sahu, Deepmala Sahu, Dr. Shakti Verma, Dr. Preeti Verma, Ravi Krishnani, Rahul Gupta, Dharmendra Gajendra, Kiran Sonwani, Rahul Saheb, Shubham, Shivani, Roshan, Amit, Bhupesh Naman for making the event successful. In the same sequence, this year, under the leadership of Subodh Mahawar, head of Youth Hostel Environment Protection Committee, a program to honor environmental friends of Dhamtari district was organized at 6 am in the Corn Garden of Dhamtari. All environmental friends were honored by the Youth Hostel by presenting them with quince, saplings and souvenirs. As a bird friend, Mohan Sahu has made about 7000 wooden nests and 700 tin grain and water containers for free. As a bird friend, Gaurav Lohana and Bhoomika Mulwani have taken up the responsibility of treating animals and birds and provided about 32000 water containers. Sakare is given free to people for birds.Snake friend, Suryakant Sahu has caught more than 4000 snakes from homes and released them in safe forests under the drought-free campaign in the field of water conservation. Kushal Chopra, Akash Kataria, Mrs. Surya Lunkad and Mrs. Rakhi Rakhecha along with Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana Dhamtari. The entire team is working on deepening of four ponds in Dhamtari district.Youth Hostel Chairman Yogesh Gupta said that Youth Hostel always works in the field of environmental protection. Tree plantation, cleanliness campaign, plastic free city are important parts of our campaign. Today, the corn pond was also cleaned by the Youth Hostel. And free birds' nests were distributed by Mohan Sahu ji. The program was conducted by Youth Hostel Secretary Kushal Chopra and vote of thanks was given by EPC in-charge Subodh Mahawar.In this program, Youth Hostel's Dr. Anant Dixit, Hukumchand Jain (President), Ramesh Dev, Prof. All the members including PC Chaudhary, Manoj Lakhwani, Venkateshwar Sahu, Manish Chandrakar, Vishvesh Kotwani, Dhananjay Sonkar, Gopal Tamrakar, Rahul Gupta, Pooja Sahu, Vaishnavi Gupta, Kajal Munjwani, Deepmala Sahu, Geeta Sinha, Vijay Aggarwal were present. After this program, a very beautiful street play was presented by Janani Seva Sansthan Arjuni under the Jal Jagar program. Through which a message was given for water conservation.
