262022-202315-08-2022CG-STATEYHAI CG State Participated in Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 15th Aug Hosted by YHAI National Office YHAI CG State participated in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program hosted online by National Office on 15th August 2022 and celebrated 75th Independence Day with Cultural Promotion Committee members through Zoom at 10AM. On this Occasion Cultural Promotion Committee had organised the following online competitions in which CG State participated in 1) Rangoli 2) Poetry - English & Hindi 3) Solo song. CG State also participated in Special Cultural Performance ( dance) consisting of 16 states.YHAI CG State got one consolation prize sent from Bhilai Unit by Ms Manju Maurya.
272022-202313-08-2022CG-STATEParticipation in All India National Integration & Youth Leadership Camp at AsansolYHAI CG State participated in All India National Integration & Youth Leadership Camp to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence -Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- Hosted by YHAI West Bengal at Asansol from 13th to 15th August. Mr Subramanyam and Ms Priyam Khare from CG State escorted the team. Mr Manish Kotwani and 9 more artist students took part in the program.
282022-202317-07-2022CG-STATEMoU Between CTB and YHAIMoU Signed and Executed between Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board (CTB) and Youth Hostels Association of India(YHAI) 17/7/ 2022. Under this YHAI will now have joint participation in tourism promotion activities of CTB. At present, Monsoon Food Festival is also being organized by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board at various places of the state, whose first event was organized on Sunday 17/07/2022 in Raipur. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Atal Shrivastava ji, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Hon'ble Mrs. Chitrarekha Sahu ji, Vice President. YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth informed that Mr. Anil Kumar Sahu (IFS) Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Tourism Board, Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Advisor State Planning Commission, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Arun Kumar Pandey Secretary Biodiversity Board. , Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Prem Kumar, Additional Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of Chhattisgarh and Mr. Rupesh Pandey, Chief Executive Officer, Youth Hostels were present in the program. On this occasion, YHAI State Chairman Sandeep Seth, Korba Unit President Satish Shukla, K Subramanyam, Shailesh Shukla, Mansoor Khan, Ajay Srivastava, Sandeep Murarka, Shashank Moge, Ashok Jhabak, Sunil Vishnoi etc. were present. . All the officials and members of all units of the youth hostels have expressed their happiness. Youth Hostel Association is an international organization having hostels in 97 countries including India. This is the second largest NGO in the United Nation, which has about 1600 members in Chhattisgarh and more than 250 units in all the states in India and 8 units are working in the state including Korba. Organizes trekking, cycling, environmental protection, human service, and cultural activities at non-profit rates.
292021-202224-12-2021CG-STATE3D2N State Camp at SATRENGA, Korba from 24 to 26 Dec 2021Amrit Mahotsav program concluded under the joint aegis of Youth Hostel Association and Forest Department Korba Korba DFO Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest! Youth Hostel Association of India Chhattisgarh State's 3-day state iron tracking and training program under the joint aegis of Forest Department, Korba, concluded on 26th December at Satrenga. About 80 participants from Raipur, Korba, Raigad, Bilaspur, Kawardha districts participated in this tracking and training program under the leadership of state chairman Sandeep Seth.On the first day of the program on 24th, the participants were taught tracking (5 KM), setting up of tents. In the severe cold at night, everyone enjoyed the campfire. On the second day, on the 25th, after tea and breakfast, everyone was made boating. After that a cleanliness drive was carried out in Satrenga in collaboration with the Forest Department. 4 sacks of garbage were collected. Later a 1400 year old Sal tree was shown. Then the panoramic trek of Rani Jharna was done under the leadership of Subba, Vikas and Rahul in collaboration with the Forest Department, which was a trek of about 9 KM.While returning from Rani Jharna, the entire trek was cleaned by the team and 6 bags of garbage were removed. On the second day also, camp fire was done again in the night. On the last day of the program everyone was taken to Devpahari. Everyone enjoyed a lot in this program of Youth Hostel because in the 3 day program everyone enjoyed cleanliness drive, trekking, boating, camping, campfire, jungle trekking, bird watching under Amrit Festival. Korba DFO Mrs. Priyanka Pandey was the chief guest at the conclusion of the program. She presented certificates to all the participants. Mrs. Priyanka Pandey told how harmful carbon emissions are for all of us. Priyanka Pandey appealed to the youth and told how its emissions can be reduced. State Chairman of Youth Hostel Sandeep Seth presented a memento while thanking the chief guest. Unit President Mr. Satish Shukla had a special contribution in making this program successful.Along with this, Tracking Officer Vikas Patel and Rahul Gupta led the entire track. EPC Shailendra Namdev, Shailesh Shukla, Sunil Vishnoi, Ashok Jhabak, Shashank Moghe, Mansoor Khan, Dr. Nishant Agarwal, Dhanbahadur Subba did commendable work in making the program a success.

312021-202229-08-2021CG-STATEOne day Monsoon trek on 29.08.2021(Sunday) at Parry Ghumar, District Gariaband Chhattisgarh.YHAI CG state branch organised 1 day monsoon trek on 29.08.2021(Sunday) @Parry Ghumar , District Gariaband Chhattisgarh. Around 70 participants participated in this program from various units Dhamtari, Raipur, Korba, Bhilai and Bilaspur. The program was organised by Mr. Ramesh Dev, APC, CG State along with Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Chairman, Dhamtari Unit, and Mr. Hukum Chand Jain, Program Coordinator. The team visited Rajim, Holy place of Hindus and took blessings @ Rajiv Lochan Temple, and then the team visited Bhuteshwar Nath Temple at Gariaband District where Asia longest SHIV-LING is there and is increasing naturally. Then after, team had a trek of around 3 KM in dense forest and reached Parry Ghoomer spot. Participants had Breakfast, Lunch and Evening tea at various spots. Program ended with Certificate distribution. The State members present in the program were Sandeep Seth(Chairman), K Subramanyam( Secretary), Satish Shukla ( Org. Secretary), Sunil Visnoi (NC Member), Shailesh Shukla(NC Member) Ramesh Dev (APC), Shailendra Namdeo (EPC), Yogesh Gupta(Chairman-Dhamtari Unit). Program was organised as per the protocols of COVID-19.
322021-202229-07-2021CG-STATESeed Distribution to 12 States 29.07.2021YHAI CG state EPC member Mr. Shailendra Namdeo posted about he Seed / Saplings of Baijanti Moti in facebook gardening group. You all know that Lord Sri Krishna loved Baijanti Moti and used to wore the garland of that Moti. After posting, EPC received around 50 calls from different parts of India demanding the seed/sapling. We asked them to send their address and finally we received 42 address from different states as listed below: Uttarakhand - 01 Rajasthan - 08 Uttar Pradesh - 12 Haryana - 04 Delhi - 03 Madhya Pradesh - 04 Bihar - 01 Jharkhand - 01 Gujarat - 02 Maharashtra - 02 Punjab - 03 Andra Pradesh -01 Finally, the seeds of Baijanti, sunflower, vermilion (kumkum), marigold, lotus were sent by post to all the 40 members who demanded it. It is believed that this will increase the awareness of the Environment among the people.
332021-202230-06-2021CG-STATEYoga Activity jointly by CG state and Raigarh UnitYHAI CG State jointly with Raigarh Unit and its Institutional Member O P Jindal School Raigarh organised a Virtual Yoga Activity on International Yoga Day 2021. Around 250 participants participated in the program. Few school teachers along with Unit President and School Principal were physically present in the School for doing YOGA and students were present virtually through zoom meeting. Principal Mr. R K Trivedi also participated in the YOGA day activity. Raigarh Unit President Mr. Sanjay Debnath suggested the benefits of YOGA to all the members virtually. YOGA instructor Mrs. Manju Gupta also gave important tips for doing the YOGA. State Chairman and Secretary congratulated and thanked the School management for conducting a program successfully.

Many fruitful saplings including Guava, Jamun, Mango, Peeple, Amla, Badam, Neem , Baigan, Lauki etc. Family members of EPC DB Subba, Secretary Shailendra Namdeoji and Chairman Sandeep Seth were present during the program.
