YHAI Jagdalpur Unit CG State organised its First Trekking and Training Program after its formation as a Full fleged unit at Chitrakoot. Around 45 members participated in the program. The program was organised under the leadership of Chairman Anil Lunkad and treasurer Vinit Agrawal.Participants had a trek of about 5KM and then had a delicious lunch in traditional manner. Many new members also joined the program. Music, Dance and other short programs were organied by the team. Anil Lunkad also gave introduction of YHAI to all the members. State President, Chairman, Secretary and Other members congratulated Team Jagdalpur for the sucessful completion of the program.

International Yoga Day was celebrated today at Indira Stadium, Jagdalpur in which Youth Hostel also gave its full participation. Mr. Pawan Sai ji, Kiran Dev ji, distinguished citizens of various institutions of the city, Bastar Commissioner, IG, Collector, SP and people of various institutions of the city collectively celebrated International Yoga Day with joy and happiness. Youth Hostel Jagdalpur unit provided its services as a volunteer. About 2000 people participated in the event.

YHAI Jagdalpur Unit, on the occasion of World Environment Day, had a plantation program at two different location on 5th June 2024.Firstly On this occasion, Rudraksh saplings were planted in the courtyard of the Shiva temple of the Forest School, the responsibility of keeping the plants safe and providing fertilizer and water was taken up by the forest personnel who had come for training at the Forest School. On this occasion, Patron of Bastar Youth Hostel Association of India Mr. Chudamani Singh Ji DFO Kanger Valley, Director of Forest School Mrs. Divya Gautam Ji, Unit Chairman Anil Lunkad, President Mr. Shankar Lal Gupta, Vice -Chairman Mr. Vidhu Shekhar Jha, Mr. Shivratan Khatri, Mr. Anil Aggarwal, Mr. Subhash Srivastava, Mr. Manish Moolchandani, Mr. Ramnaresh Pandey, Mr. Kushwaha of Forest School and the entire team of Forest School were present. Chairman informed that along with promoting tourism of Bastar, Youth Hostel will also be dedicated to the environment and is committed to make all the tourist places of Bastar a good identity in the world map. Secondly he said that saplings were planted along with the villagers in Dev Kothar of village Pidisipara Bhod near Bastar in which all the villagers participated. World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June in this village. Rural children gave a dance presentation along with elders. The women tied Raksha Sutra to every tree and took a pledge to protect the tree. Villagers and children took an oath to protect the tree and set a target of making seed balls and spreading them on the river bank.

Chairman Shri Anil Lunkad ji in consultation with Executive members nominated Ms. Rekha Pareya as Secretary. Mr. K. Subramamanyam & Mr. Subodh Dewangan from CG State Branch was present during the election as Observer & Election Officer. State President Shri Sunil Vishnoi, State Chairman Shri Sandeep Seth along with other State officials conveyed their wishes to the new team.
5 2023-2024 17-12-2023 JAGDALPUR YHAI Jagdalpur(Adhoc Unit) CG State organised a Manjhipal Trekking & Training program on 17/12/2023. YHAI Jagdalpur(Adhoc Unit) CG State organised a Manjhipal Trekking & Training program on 17/12/2023.Around 20 members participated in the program. Team started from Jagdalpur at 6.30 AM and reached the home stay Amcho Ladi of Manjhipal village of Darbha block which is located 38 km from Jagdalpur. After Introduction and breakfast the trekking started at 10AM. The trek was done in Kanger Valley which was very challenging and took 5 hrs to cover a distance of 6 KM to and fro. New members were happy to join the trek. Team crossed river 3 times during the trek which was most attractive part of the Program. At the end of a trekking a hidden water fall was visible thereafter surrounded by the mountains. This was the first trek as informed by many participants.Ms Rekha & Mr. Anil Lunkad gave the introduction of YHAI. Program ended with certificate distribution after having a delicious lunch. State team congratulated the Adhoc Unit and its members for organizing a successful program.
6 2023-2024 09-06-2023 JAGDALPUR YHAI Jagdalpur Unit(Adhoc) Chhattisgarh organised a felicitation program in Honour of HISTORY CREATED by 7 Year Old Shravani Dubey YHAI Jagdalpur Unit(Adhoc) Chhattisgarh organised a felicitation program in Honour of HISTORY CREATED by 7 Year Old Shravani Dubey.A little angel of the Jagdalpur city has created a new history in the Himalayan Trekking and Expedition campaign. This little doll Shravani Dubey has done such a wonderful thing, which makes elders sweat. Shravani climbed a mountain of thirteen and a half thousand feet height in a trekking campaign and took the title of becoming the first girl of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh to climb such a height. Shravani accompanied her father to participate in the Himalayan Trekking cum Expedition organized by the Youth Hostel Association of India at DEV KYARA in Uttar Kashi district of Uttarakhand.Program ended by giving farewell to Retd. Navy CDR Sandeep Murarka , Chairman Bilaspur Unit CG. He has been transferred to Bilaspur from Jagdalpur.

Yhai Jagdalpur (Adhoc) Unit CG State jointly with CG State Branch organised a sapling plantation in a protected park on 5th June 2023, World Environment Day. Around 20 member team was present. Saplings of Guava, Neem, Amla, Almond etc were planted on the occassion. Necessary arrangement for watering the plants and protection was also done by the team. The program was lead by Shri Anil Lunkad. Other members present were State President Shri Sunil Vishnoi, CDR Sandeep Murarka, Vidhu Shekhar Jha, Shankar Lal Agrawal, Anil Agrawal, Ms Rekha, Ms Lipi, Mr Vyas , Yogesh Gupta, Shri Shrivastava ,Dr. K L Azad, Shiv Ratan Khatri. Anil Lunkad informed the members that very soon new programs will be made for the members. State members congratulated the team for the successful program.

The program was organised under the leadership of Mr Anil Lunkad . Many members participated in the program. Attraction of the program was Kayaking and bamboo Rafting Thrilling adventure made the members full of joy. Navy Commander Sandeep Murarka, Anil agrawal, Shri Shrivastava , Vyas ji, VS Jha etc participated in the program. State President Sunil Vishnoi, Charman Sandeep Seth and Secretary K Subrahmanyam congratulated the team.

11 2022-2023 22-11-2022 JAGDALPUR Deepotsav at Dalpat Sagar YHAI Jagdalpur(Adhoc) Unit CG State participated in *DALPAT SAGAR DEEPOTSAV FESTIVAL* today on 12th Nov 2022. Every year in Jagdalpur on the eve of Kartik Purnima Lapms(DIYAs) are enlighten on the bank of Dalpat Sagar. This year also 1.81 Lakh Diya's are lit. *YHAI Jagdalpur(Adhc) unit collected fund from its members and donated 21000 Diya's and One Tin of Oil for the same.* During day time the Lapms & Oil Tin was donated and in the evening our team worked as volunteers in the event. YHAI members donated the items in presence of Jagdalpur Mayor Smt. Safira Sahu. Other members who were present were CDR Sandeep Murarka, Shankar Lal Gupta, Vidhu Shakhar Jha, Anil agrawal, Lalit Agrawal, Koteshwar Rao and Vinit Agrawal. 12 2022-2023 09-10-2022 JAGDALPUR YHAI Jagdalpur Welcomes the members of Andhra Pradesh Jagdalpur (Ad-hoc) Unit of YHAI has started his functioning now. Mr. Anil Agarwal of YHAI jagdalpur unit welcomed the members of Palkol unit of YHAI Andhra Pradesh. Commander Sandeep Murarka said that 40 members of YHAI Palakol unit had a two daysprogram of Jagdalpur trekking, training cum environmental protection program. They also visited places like Chitrakot, Balaji temple, Dandeshwari temple, Tirathgarh etc. Mr. Suryanarayan and Mr. Bhimeshwar of Palakol unit thanked Ram Tiwari ji of Jagdalpur YHAI unit for his arrangement and hospitality and told that all the members are very happy with the service of you people. Team Leader of Palakol Unit Shri Suryanarayan informed that the State Chairman Mr. Sandeep Seth, Chhattisgarh State gave his full cooperation in making this tour successful from beginning to end. State chairman also informed that YHAI is a national non-governmental organization which is continuously working on adventure, social, mountaineering, environmental protection for the youth and children for the last 75 years. In Chhattisgarh also it is working actively in 8 districts.
13 2022-2023 01-05-2022 JAGDALPUR Trekking Training Cum Cleanship Drive at Chitrakoot Dear All, YHAI JAGDALPUR (Bastar) Adhoc unit organised One day Trekking Training cum cleanliness Drive Program on 1st May, in which near about 65 members participated in the program. Jagdalpur CCF Mohd Shahid flag off the YHAI PROGRAM. Labor day was celebrated at camp by honoring them and having Breakfast with them. Also 1st May 22 was celebrated as Bore - Basi day, a local festival of CG. Breakfast was followed by introduction session, Then a trek of about 4 KM was done till Chitrakote waterfall. Cleanliness drive was carried out at waterfall followed by Boating by one and all. Many games of traditional style was also played and winners were awarded. Members were Happy to join YHAI. Program was organised under the leadership of Navy Commander Sandeep Ji and convenor Anand ji. State Chairman and Secretary congratulated the team for their efforts.
